Item A importância de uma sessão clínico-radiológica no curso de graduação médica(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2017) Silva, Alex Cezar Massoud Salame da; Gomes, Patrick Abdala Fonseca; Castro, Sinaida Maria Vasconcelos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4767038085471534; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6060836341247026; Tuji, Fabrício Mesquita; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8122254353290848; Magno, Ismaelino Mauro Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3841081216551678; Reis Junior, Leandro Passarinho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8106073837131437Introduction and objectives: Medical training has been the topic of intense debates and reveals itself as a subject of extreme importance nowadays. It is imperative to qualify professionals from all health categories to provide comprehensive care, humanized and with responsibility for the continuity of the provided care. New learning scenarios currently recommended by the National curricular guidelines for medical courses propose, among some issues, the formation of a professional with critical and reflexive attitude facing their practice. On this new panorama of Brazilian medical education, there is a need to insert appropriate educational tools that can contribute to the development of a new medical practice. The teaching technique task-based simulation in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging is more widespread and used in postgraduate teaching, particularly in medical residency. The objective of the study was to implement a methodological proposal for the teaching of Radiology in medical graduation, based on radiological interpretation, from clinical cases in a clinical-radiological session, using the most common imaging exams these days. Methods: 72 students distributed between the eighth and ninth semester of CESUPA (Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará) medical course were submitted to some questions (appendix I) after answering the Informed Consent Form (ICF). The eighth semester students were asked questions prior to any formal Radiology class. Those ones in the ninth semester replied after formal Radiology classes in the eighth semester and after two consecutive clinical sessions where some real cases with several associated imaging exams were discussed. Results: most of the students did not mention mammography or densitometry as a radiological imaging method. Several and complex clinical indications were cited, but some simpler and more common ones, such as, headache, sinusitis and cholelithiasis received almost no citations. 40% of the students did not know to conceptualize appropriately a radiological signal and 54% of them requested an examination without placing any patient’s clinical information. Regarding the risks and benefits of the imaging tests, the answers were divided between confirmation of clinical diagnosis, anaphylactic shock/ contrast, and ionizing radiation. Conclusion: The study showed that the current teaching method of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis does not fully satisfy the need of scholars about the knowledge of imaging methods, its indications and limitations, its risks and the most alarming is about the request for examinations: they have not done correctly. The proposed clinical-radiological session aimed to fill part of this gap obtaining relative success in improving the interpretation of the imaging tests and contributing to radiological exams request in a clearer and concise way.Item Proposta de avaliação formativa para sessão tutorial de módulos clínicos(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2017) Azevedo, Élia de Sousa Santos Paranhos de; Carvalho, Ana Emília Vita; Furlaneto, Ismari Perini; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9542085122721945; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1981562999898097; Fernandes, Roseane do Socorro da Silva Matos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0319739561703154; Magno, Ismaelino Mauro Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3841081216551678; Barreto, Bruno Acatauassú Paes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4741205865293040Throughout the learning process, formative evaluation occurs in order to identify and apprehend the modes of meaning that are being constructed along the educational process. To assess it is necessary to have instruments that guarantee teachers and students the understanding and the monitoring of their academic development. In this sense, the current study aimed to develop an instrument of formative evaluation for opening and closing of the clinical modules, whose descriptors meet the need of reflection and clinical knowledge in Medicine course. The research was developed in the Medicine course of the State of Pará University Center, a private institution of higher education that embraces Active Learning Methodologies. The sample consisted of nine tutors of teaching from the fourth year of the Medicine course. The following instrument was used to collect data: Questionnaire for assessment of the formative evaluation worksheet - Clinical Modules, teaching version. Data were quantified using BioEstat 5.5 software and results with p ≤ 0.05 were considered statistically significant. According to the results, the average age of participants was 40.1 years, with teaching time in higher education between eight months and 12 years. Regarding the characteristics of the descriptors more than half (55.6%) of the tutors considered that the descriptors used were clear and objective, 88.9% (p = 0.0367) reported that the worksheet helped in teacher-student assessment. Regarding the safety of providing feedback to the students, 66.7% of the tutors judged that the instrument accomplished this goal and 77.8% considered that the worksheet helped the students in understanding the feedback. It is important to have an evaluation instrument that meets the specificities of knowledge for clinical modules. As well as, to provide greater security in the evaluation process and feedback between teacher-student and student-student.Item Avaliação do uso da metodologia de problematização pelos docentes do módulo de interação em saúde na comunidade(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2017) Pereira, Cybelle Cristina; Matos, Haroldo José de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9830983900880582; Barreto, Bruno Acatauassú Paes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4741205865293040; Ikuta, Yuji Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8464078836149569; Dantas, Elza Ezilda Valente; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3951303999926297Introduction: Historically, the teaching of the medical profession was based on the eminently practical nature of the doctor-patient relationship, in which health problems are sought to be solved; this reality led to the teaching of problematizing methodologies. In the perspective of the socio-educational context within the health area, it is perceived that the Problem-solving Methodology emerges as a pedagogical strategy of possible efficacy by providing a connection and approximation of teaching with the reality lived in the health services. The Methodology of Problematization, based on the Arch of Maguerez, according to Bordenave and Pereira, presupposes a sequence of five stages which are interconnected: Observation of Reality, Key Points, Theorization, Solution Hypotheses and Application to Reality. Objective: To analyze the use of the methodology of problematization in the practice of the professors of the Module of Interaction in Health in the Community. Methodology: Consisted on a transversal study, with a qualitative approach through content analysis, with the help of Iramuteq software. Twenty professors from the Community Health Interaction Module of CESUPA participated in the study. Results and Discussion: After analyzing the four categories presented by the content analysis, it was possible to verify that the teachers understand in general the stages of the Arch of Maguerez and the necessity of the intervention of the students in the reality to be transformed. In addition, they perceive limitations and advantages in the use of the Problem-solving Methodology, but also present some hazy concepts regarding the use of the methodology. Conclusion: It is concluded that the MISC professors have knowledge and professional experience in relation to the application of the Problem Methodology, but it is necessary to have a higher qualification in relation to the subject, besides new studies that can deepen the teaching of Problematization in medical education.Item Construção e validação de manual educativo para o uso no processo de aprendizado acadêmico em fisioterapia após artroplastia total do joelho(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2017-12-18) Esteves, Tiago Costa; Magno, Ismaelino Mauro Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3841081216551678; Cavalcante, Érica Gomes do Nascimento; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6296398919595807; Nunes, Leonardo Mendes Acatauassú; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3512764081076675; Rocha, Rodrigo Santiago Barbosa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4119162366965074; Domingues, Robson José de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9892890507517226Introduction: The growth of the elderly population in Brazil has increased the cases of degenerative diseases such as osteoarthrosis, and in more severe cases the treatment is performed through knee total arthroplasty surgery. Physical therapy is extremely important for the return of functional activities of these patients. Objective: this research is the construction and validation of an orientation manual applied to total knee arthroplasty for the students of the Physiotherapy course. Materials and Methods: This is a cross-sectional, descriptive study whose sample consisted of 139 students from the Physiotherapy course of the University of Amazônia (UNAMA) and 11 judges. In the first moment studies were carried out that subsidized the construction of the manual; in the second, for validation of the content of the manual, the judges received a questionnaire with 7 closed questions referring to the primordial items of the manual with scores according to the modified Likert scale, which proposes five levels of answers and in the third one, the manual to students through an expository class for analysis performed through a questionnaire with closed questions containing 07 objective questions of multiple choice based on a modified Likert scale with five levels of answers. Results: For the descriptive representation of the data, tables were elaborated, using the Microsoft Word® Software, representing the absolute and relative frequencies of the categorical variables. The preparation of the manual was based on the illustrative and textual description of the protocol of physiotherapeutic intervention in patients submitted to total knee arthroplasty including in the hospital and outpatient phases. Discussion: The opinions of the judges regarding the items contained in the manual on physiotherapeutic interventions and the student satisfaction index were compatible with data from other studies that used the same methodological tool. Conclusion: in light of the results and the discussion, it is concluded that the manual developed as didactic resource can be considered valid by the specialists, as well as by the students, making possible the contribution in the teaching-learning process during the academic training of these future health professionals.Item Cartilha sem letras para idosos com hipertensão arterial sistêmica: uma estratégia de ensino para adesão ao tratamento(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2018) Ribeiro, Márcia Regina Mota; Magno, Ismaelino Mauro Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3841081216551678; Nunes, Leonardo Mendes Acatauassú; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3512764081076675; Rojas, Márcia de Fátima Maciel de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1926263861110172; Ikuta, Yuji Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8464078836149569This is a cross-sectional and descriptive study aimed at validating a letter-free booklet for elderly patients with systemic arterial hypertension (SAH) as a teaching strategy to enable adherence to treatment. Every year, all around the world, the number of Congenital Syphilis (CS) is increasing. Last 2018 Epidemiological Bulletin of Brazil presented the national incidence rate of CS in 8,6 cases for every thousand born alive, very far from the target set by the American Health Organization (PAHO) that is 0,5 cases of CS for every thousand born alive up to 2015. Adequate and early treatment in pregnants is the most efficient manner to prevent CS. With the implementation of rapid test for syphilis in Basic Health Units (UBS), Ministry of Health (MH) aims to avoid diagnostic opportunities loss and adequate the treatment. Searching for improving health professional atuation who accomplish prenatal and favor doctor and nurse from Family Health Strategies (FHS) to answer doubts related to the management of syphilis in pregnant women, a technical instrument in disk form was developed, denominated “Disc for Diagnosis and Treatment of Syphilis in Pregnant Women”, based on MH flowcharts Protocols. Objective. Evaluate the technical instrument acceptance from medical professionals and nurses who perform prenatal care at the FHS in Belém city. Methodology. Research of descriptive character, qualitativequantitative in the management of syphilis specifically in pregnant women. Two different questionnaires were used for data collection, the first one was answered before the disk delivery in period of February and March 2018 with questions containing variables as professional position, sex, graduated time, level of study, and others related to the MH Protocol and syphilis in pregnant women. 156 questionnaires were answered followed by the delivery of 156 Discs. Second questionnaire was answered 4 months after Disc delivery, containing questions about the opportunity of using the instrument and as variables about its acceptance. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software was used, associations were calculated using the Chi-square test of adhesion and independence, interest variables, with significance level of 5%, to predict the result of Disc usage by professionals with the variables that proved to be significant in the tests. Results. In relation to questionnaire I from a total universe of 224 professionals, 156 questionnaires were filled out, majority of participants are nurses 24.4% and doctors 14.7%, female gender predominates 68.6% among both doctors and nurses with a general average of 7.5 years of graduated in both categories but with a slightly lower prenatal accomplishment experience, an average of 6.2 years. 115 (75%) reported have ever had doubts about a syphilis suggestive result in pregnant women and most said they do not know how to proceed with altered results for Sifilis. In questionnaire II, 50 questions were answered, being a sample with predominance of the feminine gender 30 (60%) and nurses 37 (74%), similar to the first phase, 70% of respondents said they had no difficult to handle the disc, 90% considered the disc useful or very useful, 95% affirmed that the disk contains all informations for proper diagnosis and treatment of syphilis in pregnant women, 94% would recommend its use to other professionals. Conclusion. Results demonstrate that the instrument created was well accepted by the surveyed professionals, and seems to fulfill the larger goal by which it was created, to be a tool for decision-making, improving the diagnosis of a pregnant woman with syphilis.Item Percepção dos estagiários do curso superior de tecnologia em radiologia sobre as medidas de radioproteção: vídeo-arte(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2018) Cantuária, Aline de Souza; Del Nero, Luciana Brandão Carreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5056614008350803; Soeiro, Ana Cristina Vidigal; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6698869828155009; Carvalho, Ana Emília Vita; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1981562999898097; Magno, Ismaelino Mauro Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3841081216551678; Gomes, Patrick Abdala Fonseca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6060836341247026; Castro, Sinaida Maria Vasconcelos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4767038085471534The objective of this study was to describe the perception of the students of the Superior Course of Technology in Radiology about the measures of Radioprotection regulated by Portaria 453/98. In order to carry out this study, a questionnaire was drawn up to evaluate a causative sample of 27 participants invited to spontaneously participate in the research, all of whom were beginners of the practice at the stage. The mean age was 28.44 years and standard deviation was 7.29 years. Homogeneous data were observed, since the coefficient of variation is 25.62 (CV <30%). The data were collected through the application of the questionnaire, resulting in a quantitative, transversal and descriptive analysis about the importance of radioprotection. Fisher's chi-square or exact test was used for association analysis. One can conclude significant results of knowledge gaps on radioprotection, and a perception of boring and merely decorative teaching methodology. Thus, as a tool for intervention in teaching, there was the production of a video-art as a promotion to improve the theoretical-practical articulation of the teaching-learning process.Item Perfil do nível de realização de atividade física em estudantes do curso de medicina do Centro Universitário do Pará (CESUPA)(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019) Rios, Paulo Marcelo Lopes; Gomes, Patrick Abdala Fonseca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6060836341247026; Barreto, Bruno Acatauassú Paes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4741205865293040; Magno, Ismaelino Mauro Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3841081216551678; Farias, Alexandre Maia de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5345971413199993; Carvalho, Ana Emília Vita; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1981562999898097This research has sought to analyse the level of physical activity of medicine students from the Centro Universitario do estado do Para, in light of the importance of practicing physical exercises in all stages of life, especially at the stage of life the subjects find themselves and considering the many challenges they face at this stage in their lives. To undertake the evaluation, the students responded the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) which contains questions surrounding the students’ daily routine and their relationship with the practice of physical exercises. At the end of the questionnaire, the students were classed as: sedentary, irregularly active, active or very active. The result of the questionnaire made possible to identify how many students do not practice physical activity, how many do not practice enough physical activity, the motives behind students abstaining from practicing physical activities and the period in which they have more difficulty in maintaining an exercise routine, with the objective of creating solutions for these issues and examine in which way the institution can instigate positive change to reverse the sedentary behaviour of some students. Having regard to the relationship between physical activity and good academic performance, this study tackled the importance of physical activity for the student’s quality of life and the issues its absence may create for the student’s performance and general health. The data has been expressed in the form of average +-, standard deviation, median and interquartile deviation and 95% confidence intervals, as appropriate, and presented in tables or figures. The normality of the distributions was verified by the D'Agostino and Pearson Normality test. This paper evaluated 256 students, distributed from the 1st to the 12th semester. The results have shown that 45,2% of first-year students practice less physical activity than necessary for good health and school performance. In the second year, the number is 62% and in the third year, 56.9%. This trend only reverses in the last year of college, where the number of active or very active students is 50.1%. The study clearly showed the need for students to increase physical activity.Item Construção de instrumento de avaliação das habilidades comportamentais em simulação realística na graduação em medicina(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019) Andrade, Selma Parente Sousa; Miranda, Ariney Costa de; Pinto, Ana Rachel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2268370803567328; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0967752058385887; Carvalho, Ana Emília Vita; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1981562999898097; Caldato, Milena Coelho Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9477878606835309; Corrêa, Cláudio Eduardo Teixeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7448998858430931; Nunes, Leonardo Mendes Acatauassú; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3512764081076675; Furlaneto, Ismari Perini; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9542085122721945Introduction: Adequate training of the technical, and non-technical medical students skills is required, especially in a medical emergency situation, since training suitable professionals how to conduct serious cases significantly reduces the occurrence of mistakes and damages to the patient. Real-simulation-based learning allows the trainee to be prepared on how to deal with critical situations before contacting actual patients, particularly during the emergency context. Some non-technical or behavioral skills can be especially hard to be taught and trained. For this reason, the use of specific tools like behavioral checklists or scripts, become relevant to favor this task. It is crucial to mention that such tools should also be linked to the student's reality. However, as such tools are currently unavailable in our teaching institution, we have chosen to build one, based on existing scales in the literature. Objective: The aim of this study was to create a behavioral checklist applied to the realistic simulation environment of the urgency and emergency module from CESUPA medical course. Methods: For this reason, a literature review was carried out on the undergraduate competences and currently validated scales in the health area that addressed the main behavioral skills of the medical professional. From then on, the checklist developed was evaluated by four judges and applied to the students of the boarding school in Emergency and Emergence of CESUPA. The analyzed data was treated using descriptive statistics, expressed as median, interquartile range, percentiles and 95% Confidence Interval. Results: The generated checklists have been filled by a total of 30 students, from which 28 have been selected. Attitudes related to 'communication' skills have been significantly more frequent than those related to 'teamwork'; when students' performance involved 'airways' (p = 0.0195),' polytrauma '(p = 0.0011) and 'acute coronary syndrome' (p = 0.0490). In simulated cases of 'thoracic drainage' the frequency of ‘leadership’ behavior have shown to be significantly higher than those of ‘teamwork’ (p = 0.0022). Conclusion: 1. Communication, leadership and teamwork were considered three essential behavioral skills to be applied in our tool (checklist), in order to aid realistic high fidelity simulation activities at the urgent and emergency internship of CESUPA’s medical school. 2. The checklist built as a product of this work will be used as an auxiliary tool in our scenarios for analysis and behavioral discussion during debriefing and it may also be modified, adapted and improved for posterior use in different activities in our institution. 3. We believe those studied behavioral skills might have their anticipated training in related activities through in diverse contexts in order to provide greater mastery from our students.Item Guia para oficina de dança marujada: perspectivas da educação física para a melhoria da marcha e do equilíbrio na pessoa idosa(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019) Alves, Walquiria Cristina Batista; Del Nero, Luciana Brandão Carreira; Nunes, Leonardo Mendes Acatauassú; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3512764081076675; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5056614008350803; Barreto, Bruno Acatauassú Paes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4741205865293040; Carvalho, Ana Emília Vita; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1981562999898097; Nassar, Sérgio Eduardo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3066738195459439The correlations between the field of physical education and cultural expressions allow the body to be conceived as an instrument of communication, expression, leisure and culture, capable of supporting innumerable teaching and learning proposals, increasing the possibilities of using physical education. The aim of this study was to combine the effects of exposing a Leve-Dura (banner) technology on the frequency of request and feedback in the discipline Clinical Skills of the 2nd and 6th semester of the Medicine Course of the University Center of the Pará (CESUPA). To achieve these objectives, a descriptive, exploratory and quantitative research was developed using the following procedures: 2 questionnaires were developed to evaluate the conception about the feedback frequency of the students of the study course, before and after the exhibition of a Light-Hard technology (banner). The main results indicate that there is a low frequency for receiving and requesting and feedback. It was observed that the impact of the presence of the banner did not demonstrate effectiveness for the increase in the frequency of feedback requests, as well as the frequency of obtaining feedback from the teaching performance. At the end, we present considerations and suggestions regarding the possibilities of using informational technologies to strengthen the practice of feedback among students, with a view to improving medical education in the context investigated.Item O projeto de intervenção na percepção de professores que adotam a metodologia da problematização(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019) Lima, Leila Suely Aviz; Matos, Haroldo José de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9830983900880582; Ikuta, Yuji Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8464078836149569; Teixeira, Renato da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3506765836592906; Miranda, Ariney Costa de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0967752058385887The New Curriculum Guidelines of 2014 describe that the graduate must be coresponsible for the initial, continuing and in-service training, intellectual autonomy and social responsibility that can be achieved if the Unified Health System (UHS) is a learning scenario. The Intervention Projects present the same itinerary or structure of the General Projects. It is called Intervention Project because it will intervene in something existing, proposing changes in reality. It is a way of achieving a theoretical-practical path, depending on the focus it may be a proposal of educational, care, management. In this context, the objective was to analyze the perception of the teachers in Health Interaction Module in the Community (HIMC) in relation to the development of an Intervention Project. A descriptive-exploratory study of a qualitative approach was developed. Medicine teachers in HIMC took part in the research in University Center of State of Pará - CESUPA, from October to December 2018. The data collection was done through a semistructured interview, consisting of 10 questions, addressing aspects related to the intervention project. The data were analyzed using the Bardin content analysis method with the aid of IRAMUTEQ software. Twenty-six teachers participated in the study, most of them female (65%), aged 40-49 (50%), with a teaching time of 1 to 9 years (12%). They have been working with the Problematization Methodology for more than five years, always using (85%) the methodology in their practical HIMC activities. The majority (69%) found it easy to apply the Intervention Project using the knowledge and steps of the Arco de Maguerez (88%), but most (62%) were not able to use the methodology with Arco de Maguerez, 62% were trained in other institutions or by other kinds of specialization such as Master's Degree. In the implementation of the Community Health Intervention Project (CHIP) written 96% report that they adhere to the guidelines of the Intervention Project manual provided by the HIMC. It is concluded that the HIMC teachers have a good perception regarding the development and importance of the Intervention Project in its practical activities, despite some difficulties found in the practice scenarios. The scenarios of HIMC are environments that allow the use of the Active Methodology of the Problematization to generate an Intervention Project. To improve the dynamics of the Intervention Project it is necessary to train the teachers about the Arco de Maguerez and standardize the elaboration of the Health Intervention Project in the Community.Item Métodos ativos de ensino e aprendizagem e desenvolvimento docente em cursos de graduação na cidade de Belém(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019) Abreu, Clissia Renata Loureiro Croelhas; Dantas, Elza Ezilda Valente; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3951303999926297; Reis Junior, Leandro Passarinho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8106073837131437; Carvalho, Ana Emília Vita; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1981562999898097; Matos, Haroldo José de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9830983900880582; Teixeira, Renato da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3506765836592906; Barreto, Bruno Acatauassú Paes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4741205865293040Introduction: The innovative conception of education presupposes new pillars: learning to know learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to be, which have highlighted the need to reconstruct the relationship between teaching and discourse in the teaching-learning process creating a new environment for both teacher and student. Problems: The research was guided by the following epistemological questions: How do teachers perceive their professional development from the use of active methodologies in their teaching practice in higher education? How is the preparation of these teachers for the exercise of teaching in the perspective of the use of active learning methods? What challenges are encountered in the process of using MA's? How do these relate to your teaching development? How is the preparation of these teachers for the exercise of teaching in the perspective of the use of active learning methods? What challenges are encountered in the process of using MA's? How do these relate to your teaching development? Objectives: To analyze the use of active methodologies and their effects on the development of higher education teachers by proposing a technical note. Identify how teachers plan to perform teaching activities in courses that use Active Methods. Identify which formative practices contribute to their development as a teacher. Map the potentialities and weaknesses faced by teachers in the development of learning from Active Methods. Verify the challenges faced by teachers in working with active methodologies. methodological approach: qualitative research and was supported epistemic use of bibliographic research, document and data collection with the application of mixed questionnaire to participants. Results: The first results indicate the prospect that working with active methods of teaching epistemology imply a review. The definition by the active method teachers was represented by the following keywords: Protagonism 38.89%, innovative 27.78%, Challenger 11, 11%, Effective 11.11%, paradigm shift 5.55% and knowledge building 5 , 55%. The most used methodologies TBL 77.8% reported using this methodology, 72.2% use PBL, 66.7%, seminar 38.9%, Integrated Panel 33.3%, Gamification 16.7, PJBL, 11.1 % Peer Instruction 11.11%, GVGO, 11.1%. The favoring of teacher development with active methodologies was referenced as follows: Dynamic 5.55%, Process under construction 33.33%, Active methodologies stimulate teacher updating and improvement 33.33%, Challenging and motivating 16.66%. Conclusion: It was understood, therefore, that the active methods allow and challenge teachers to a continuous and permanent (self) formative process whether it is captured by the institution, as well as by the desire for teacher self-learning.Item O uso de plantas medicinais e fitoterapia na atenção básica: uma revisão integrativa(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019) Sodré, Évila Fernanda Lameira de Melo; Matos, Haroldo José de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9830983900880582; Carvalho, Ana Emília Vita; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1981562999898097; Nunes, Leonardo Mendes Acatauassú; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3512764081076675; Paes, Andréa Luzia Vaz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4364540186589331Phytotherapy is a treatment method that uses medicinal plants in its various ways of preparation, constituting an integrative and complementary therapy modality, and its use has been increasing in several countries. In Brazil there are national policies, created in 2006, that encourage the implementation of this therapy in Primary Health Care, such as the National Policy of Medicinal Plants and Phytotherapy (NPMPP) and the National Policy of Integrative and Complementary Practices (NPICP). In this context, the objective was to investigate through an integrative literature the knowledge and the use of the main medicinal and phytotherapeutic plants used in basic care in Brazil, in order to propose the application of a MINI COURSE to assist physicians, residents of Family Medicine and Community as well as the medical professors and other health professionals in order to enable them to correct guidance on this therapeutic option. Documents were searched in the Research Portal of the Virtual Health Library, in the following databases: Medline, Lilacs, Scielo, among other bases of this portal. The key words used were: medicinal plants, phytotherapy, primary health care, Unified Health System, professional qualification in Portuguese, Spanish and English language with available text published between January 2013 and November 2018. Based on the eligibility criteria, 7 articles were selected for the integrative review of this study based on the evidence criteria of the PRISMA consensus. The results indicated that in general there is a certain "sympathy" for phytotherapy in primary care, but on the other hand there is still very little knowledge and even some restrictions on its use by health professionals, and this is one of the difficulties encountered in practice in Primary Care. Facing to this scenario it is concluded that although the use of medicinal plants is frequent in the general population, the health professional, due to lack of information, does not use this resource in an adequate way, so that this reality is modified and the correct indication of this therapeutic practice occurs as well as the consolidation of this Integrative Therapy in the Primary Attention to Health, it is necessary to train the professionals, residents and academics of the health courses.Item Guia simplificado de orientação para o uso de recursos fisioterapêuticos nos cuidados paliativos em pacientes oncológicos(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019) Balieiro, Denise Azevedo; Dantas, Elza Ezilda Valente; Cunha, Katiane da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4868349926785832; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3951303999926297; Carvalho, Ana Emília Vita; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1981562999898097; Gomes, Patrick Abdala Fonseca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6060836341247026; Reis Júnior, Leandro Passarinho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8106073837131437The present study was produced on the theme of health education, with the object of oncological physiotherapy in palliative care, based on the academic view of physiotherapy students in the practice scenario of the internship areas. The interest in the study arose from the perception of an existing gap in the graduation of the physiotherapy course when relating oncological physiotherapy to palliative care and physical therapy resources and the need to improve teaching-learning in the internship area. Objectives: to elaborate a simplified guideline for the use of physiotherapeutic resources in palliative oncology care, to identify students' theoretical knowledge, to recognize the theoretical and practical skills of physiotherapy students in describing physiotherapeutic resources in palliative cancer care. The methodology was characterized as an exploratory, descriptive, quantitative study, and the questionnaire was used as a research tool. As theoretical references, studies that addressed health education, physical therapy in oncology and palliative care were used. As a result, we observed that the majority of students presented in 82.8% having theoretical knowledge on the theme; on the topic of palliative care, 51.7% of students demonstrated knowledge; on the subject of oncological physiotherapy at graduation, 37.9% of the students demonstrated that the environment for the internship would not be the most suitable for clinical practice and on the topic of physiotherapeutic resources in palliative oncology care they presented satisfactory knowledge, since most students agreed with the statements on the theme, as 58.6% of the students answered that there is efficacy in the care of a patient with permanent tracheostomy caused by laryngeal cancer who was in respiratory distress, assisted by bronchial hygiene maneuvers and tracheal aspiration. Based on these results, a simplified academic guide for physiotherapeutic resources was developed to guide students in palliative care to patients as a teaching-learning aid tool, and it was possible to observe that regardless of the previous knowledge of the undergraduate or internship location, the student has the perception about the contents of oncology and palliative care to apply during clinical practice, however there is a need for more research on the perspective of the student of physiotherapy and health education as a teaching tool and mobilization of skills in the training process of students.Item A espiritualidade na formação médica: elaboração de um guia didático a partir da autopercepção de alunos da graduação(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019) Pereira, Ângela Regina Rosa Corrêa; Barreto, Bruno Acatauassú Paes; Magno, Ismaelino Mauro Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3841081216551678; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4741205865293040Introduction: Spirituality is an intangible way of seeking meaning in life. However, religiosity runs through a concrete system based on doctrines or cults that aims to attain the Sacred from behavioral, social and moral values. In this context, there is currently an important involvement between health and spirituality. Since 1988, the World Health Organization involves the spiritual dimension in the concept of health. Scientific research on the subject is still incipient, but with relevant results. Medical education in the field of humanistic skills is instigated to promote training for teachers and students on the subject. Objective: To develop a pedagogical guide on Spirituality and clinical practice based on the perception of the subject in undergraduate medical students. Methods: This is a descriptive, observational, cross-sectional study with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Self-assessment of medical students was carried out (n = 233). A selfapplied questionnaire, of the Brief Multidimensional Measure of Religiousness and Spirituality (BMMRS protocol) validated for the Portuguese language - Brazil. Results: The profile of the population ranged from 18 to 49 years (median: 21), most of whom were single (n = 222), of the female gender, and when they were grouped by semesters, the female gender was also predominant. The religious distribution shows a majority of Catholics (65%), followed by evangelicals (9.8%), which predominates over spiritist (5.1%). In relation to the spiritual dimensions analyzed: spiritual experiences, beliefs and values, religious overcoming and organizational religiosity, were more valued (greater percentage) by the group of students of the first semester compared to the twelfth semester in all variables. However, when the global selfassessment dimension was analyzed, students in the last semester of the course feel more religious and more spiritual. As for the qualitative analysis of the responses related to spirituality and the medical course, using the criterion of Bardin 2011. The comparison of the responses of the groups particularly values this research because it reflects in the first group a probable expectation of the subject to be approached and for the complete a record of the subject in medical training. Conclusion: The students' perception about spirituality and graduation, brings us to propose a didactic guide on spirituality and clinical practice. A large part of the studied population favored the subject in the medical course. It is necessary, however, more research proposing ways to address this dimension of health in medical education.Item Mídia digital: uma ferramenta para o ensino da aferição da pressão arterial em crianças e adolescentes(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019-02-04) Damasceno, Renata Trindade; Pinto, Ana Rachel; Del Nero, Luciana Brandão Carreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5056614008350803; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2268370803567328; Oikawa, Érika; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4276065633580595; Nunes, Leonardo Mendes Acatauassú; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3512764081076675; Chermont, Aurimery Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4212769913736000; Barreto, Bruno Acatauassú Paes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4741205865293040; Figueiredo, Fernanda Andreza de Pinho Lott; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7138897986179124The use of technology in the field of health education has transformed the teaching-learning process and the relationship between the teacher and his student. The educational institutions have sought to overcome the challenge of meeting the needs of a generation used to the technological means, as well as to train teachers capable of helping the student to reach the necessary skills for professional life. Despite the fact that hypertension in childhood is a predictor of hypertension in adult life and its correct measurement is indispensable for the diagnosis and treatment of this condition, the knowledge of the correct technique of measurement is still uncommon. OBJECTIVE: Considering the need for new forms of communication in the medical school as well as share knowledge in a creative and dynamic way this study aims to develop a digital media (video blog) that demonstrates the correct technique of blood pressure measurement in children and adolescents, evaluating its functionality in this respect. METHODOLOGY: The research was descriptive, cross-sectional, with the aid of a semi-structured questionnaire, applied to the students of the fourth year of the medical course of the Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará. RESULTS: The data showed that 93.3% of participants do not have the habit of measuring blood pressure in the pediatric age group, 94.6% believe that they do not perform the procedure correctly, 44% present errors in the selection of the material, 70% do not know how to prepare the patient, 40% reveal lack of techniques inherent to the professional. for the accurate measurement; 99.9% of the students stated that they did not know the guidelines that establish the norms of pressure measurement, especially the chapter aimed at children and adolescents and 94.6% stated that digital media are already used in their teaching-learning process. The display of the audiovisual resource of the video blog promoted an increase in the number of correct responses in three of the four domains surveyed and the media of correct answers remained constant in the periods analyzed after the video was presented. CONCLUSION: The audiovisual resource worked very well as a tool for share information; the teacher of higher education in health is able to build a digital media as a teaching-learning tool, as long as properly trained, requiring for this, technological literacy and educational foundation.Item Análise comparativa de perfil epidemiológico e imuno-histoquímico em pacientes jovens com câncer de mama em clínica privada(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019-05-29) Neiva, Christianne Gomes Barros; Miranda, Ariney Costa de; Carvalho, Ana Emília Vita; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1981562999898097; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0967752058385887; Caldato, Milena Coelho Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9477878606835309; Barreto, Bruno Acatauassú Paes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4741205865293040; Bacelar, Herick Pampolha Huet de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3310315262508382Breast câncer in Young people is considered an uncommon disease accounting for less than 7% for all women diagnosed with câncer in developed countries. In the last decade, there have been fundamental changes in the understanding of the biology of breast cancer, which has come to be understood as a group of diseases with different molecular characteristics identified by gene expression profiles. This was a longitudinal retrospective case-control study in which 60 patients with a diagnosis of breast cancer, 20 young patients (≤ 40 years), Case group (Gca) and 40 patients (contro lgroup - CG) were evaluated, These groups were subdivided into two age groups: Groups 1 (GC1) with patients aged 41-59 years and Control groups 2 (GC2) with patients aged 60 or over. The patients underwent oncologic surgery, in the period between May/2013 and October/2018. The mean age of the participants was 34.2 years; 85% had symptomatic diseases; the mean tumor size was 2.6cm; 20% had a first-degree family history, and 35% had loco regional lymph nodes in the study. Histopathological examination. Regarding Postoperative Staging, 1A was more frequent. The luminal profile A was found in 38.8% of the patients, followed by luminal B in 33.3% and triple in 27.8% in the case group. Differing from the literature, in which predominance of the B-luminal profile occurs. We conclude that the sample studied presented fewer aggressive cases than found in the literature in this age group. The diagnosis of breast câncer is a challenge in this age group because women do not usually do mammographic screening before 40 years. With the purpose of drawing attention and orientation regarding breast cancer in Young women and guiding health professionals, a primer was produced with the purpose of encouraging, whenever possible, the early diagnosis and better therapeutic conduct of the patients.Item O peer instruction (instrução por pares) como estratégia metodológica no ensino-aprendizagem da reanimação neonatal(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2020) Costa, Edilene Silva da; Dantas, Elza Ezilda Valente; Pinto, Ana Rachel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2268370803567328; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3951303999926297; Barreto, Bruno Acatauassú Paes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4741205865293040; Magno, Ismaelino Mauro Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3841081216551678; Reis Junior, Leandro Passarinho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8106073837131437; Teixeira, Renato da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3506765836592906; Carvalho, Ana Emília Vita; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1981562999898097The theme The Peer Instruction (Peer Instruction) as a Methodological Strategy in the Teaching-Learning of Neonatal Resuscitation is linked to the research line of the teaching-learning process in the medical field, and aims at the methodological debate about the training of Resuscitation, currently based in its theoretical section, in traditional methodologies, through lectures, observing a great disinterest of the students. In this sense, try to seek alternatives for the teaching-learning process, used in the experimental character of the active PI methodology, associated with the Socrative online voting system, Objectives: to evaluate the level of learning, satisfaction and motivation about the neonatal resuscitation course, comparing students' estimates of traditional methodology and PI; Methodology: the subjects of this research were undergraduate medical students from the 5th year of CESUPA (Centro Universitário do Pará), studying the practical module of pediatrics at Hospital Divina Providência, where a research was carried out. The students were divided into four classes, two of which received traditional training and two received PI training, as classes were randomly randomized by students, a data collection was carried out over the six-month period (March to August/2019), were investigated through answers in the selection test of the neonatal resuscitation course choice, all students after a capacity response in a likert type questionnaire with their opinions on the methodologies employed. Results: the answers to the questions showed a similar level of learning in the two methodologies during the first round of voting, but in the second round, where the answers were 30-70%, the students talked to their peers and voted again, generating a statistically difference significant (p = 0.0065 *). It was observed that both methodologies are positive in training. The PI group achieved a statistically significant outcome in the answer I totally agree (p = 0.0325 *), the students of both methodologies disagree, mostly, that there are learning barriers in relation to the applied methodologies, and the PI group obtained a difference statistically significant in the answer I totally disagree (p = 0.0465 *). The theme that obtained the greatest statistical difference was the motivation generated in IP (p = 0.0021 *). The online voting carried out by the Socrative application was evaluated only by students in the PI group with a very significant statistical result in relation to their positivity (p = 0.0001 *). Conclusion: The PI achieved promising results, confirming itself as an innovative methodology, capable of generating significant learning.
