Nutrition can be a great ally in preventing the development of the disease, since the consumption of foods rich in fiber, vegetables, fruits and “good” fats is a preventive factor, but it can be considered a risk factor, if the consumption of processed foods, deli meats, red meat, among others, is excessive. To develop an educational technology (ET) for users of primary health care on food for the prevention of breast cancer. Review study with a qualitative approach, carried out through methodological development, divided into two stages: integrative literature review (ILR) and production of ET, which is a digital booklet. The protective factors identified were the consumption of natural or minimally processed foods, such as vegetables, fruits, grains, seasonings and spices. While the excessive consumption of red meat, whole milk and derivatives rich in fat, deli meats, soft drinks, industrialized foods are considered risk factors. After the survey and organization of significant topics, the development of the booklet was started, with easy understanding content, containing in its extension the use of images and adequate textual content. The use of antiretroviral therapy has drastically decreased mortality and opportunistic infections, on the other hand, is strongly associated with metabolic and functional changes in the body, including HIV lipodystrophic syndrome, which causes dyslipidemias, glycemic and morphological changes, with changes in body fat distribution, as well as altered hormone levels and higher risks of developing chronic non-communicable diseases. To identify anatomical, metabolic and nutritional changes in individuals with AIDS in antiretroviral therapy. Systematic searches of Original Scientific Articles, Dissertations and Theses on Nutritional Status and biochemical alterations of AIDS carriers using antiretroviral therapy were carried out to perform the study, Lipodystrophic Syndrome and HIV published between 2010 and 2021, in the Portuguese, English and Spanish descriptors. When carrying out the research with the descriptors detailed in the methodology and in the described languages, 86 articles were found from which, after the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 8 articles were selected, in which it was possible to observe that most of the men evaluated were eutrophic and women were overweight, in addition to the high risk for metabolic complications due to the high cholesterol and triglyceride levels caused by the advance of infection and HAART in 50% of the evaluated patients. It was also observed that individuals with HIV are more susceptible to glycemic alterations and lipodystrophic syndrome, especially in females. It aims to analyze the indicators of nutritional risk in hospitalized cancer patients as well as to identify the prevalence of nutritional risk among cancer patients and investigate the factors that may be related to the nutritional risk of these patients. The methodology was carried out through a descriptive study, literature review in Portuguese and English. The search was carried out from March to May 2021, for articles published from 2011 to 2021. As a result, it was found that most studies indicated more than 40% of nutritional risk, this is because patients do notfeed enough to meet their energy needs, which can be due to a series of factors, such as the underlying disease, pain, nausea, vomiting, anxiety, inappetence, dysphagia, depression, functional incapacity, aggressive treatments and even the hospital environment. Furthermore, when they affect the digestive tract, they increase the risk of malnutrition, mainly due to the low food intake resulting from symptoms and the presence of cancer, often of an obstructive nature. To present a literature review that addresses the relationship between nutritional aspects and complementary feeding for children and infants. Longitudinal descriptive bibliographic review, using articles indexed in the electronic databases National Library of Medicine (Medline, USA), Scielo, Pubmed, Academic Google, Capes, published in Portuguese and English. The review was restricted to studies published in children that included the key words proposed by the author and the 12-year-old temporariness. Of the articles selected according to the inclusion criteria, it was observed that there is a negative association between the early consumption of processed foods and changes in the nutritional status of infants and children, as well as the technique and management for which this diet is offered. It is a quali-quantitative exploratory research, of a descriptive cross-sectional type, which evaluated 167 teachers, using the Guia Alimentar para a População Brasileira and the Programa de Alimentação do Trabalhador (PAT). The satisfaction survey of snacks offered to teachers was carried out using an online form, which revealed that the snacks offered to teachers need improvements to meet nutritional recommendations and increase their satisfaction, aiming to offer healthier and more balanced options, through reduction the consumption of sweet and processed foods, as well as the elimination of sugar present in juice and offering healthier and/or whole foods, mainly fruit, which gained main prominence, given that 87 teachers cited it as a suggestion for improvements. Achieving superior performance requires practitioner to develop specific motor skills, where nutrition and hydration play crucial roles. Understanding appropriate hydration strategies and a suitable nutritional regimen, aligned with body composition, is fundamental for the performance and health of practitioners. Objective: Tuo understand, through an integrative literature review, the relationship between body composition, hydration and athletic performance in the specific context of Kendo, aiming to provide insights that can optimize both training and the health of practitioners, Materials and Methods: An interactive literature review was condueted, with article searches in PubMed, Virtual Health Library (BVS), and Scielo, covering the period from 2010 to 2024, in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Results: Data analysis allowed the selection of five articles that fell into two categories: those that examined the body composition of Kendo athletes and those that evaluated the hydration of these athletes. Final Considerations: This study highlights the importance and complexity of factors such as hydration, nutrition, and body composition, which are essential for athletic performance, physical development, muscle strength, as well as the health and quality of life of Kendo practitioners. To verify the body composition of athletes from an academy in Belém-Pa. This study was quantitative, cross-sectional and descriptive. The study is quantitative due to the collection and analysis of data being quantitative on the variables, determining the association or correlation between the theme's variables. After collecting data and comparing the results with similar studies, it was noticed that most athletes are male, aged 20 - 25 years, with an average IMC of 18,5 kg/m² - 24, 9 kg/m² (Eutrophic), percentage of normal fat, already the IMC and percentage of fat, classified as eutrophic with percentage classified normal. It was an descriptive, transversal study with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out after approval by the Research Ethics Committee Opinion No. 3,817,272 (CEP) of the Santa Casa de Misericórdia Foundation of Pará (FSCMP) through the direct application of a semi-open questionnaire containing eight questions, referring to good specific handling practices for dairy. The study included 13 handlers in the morning, afternoon and evening working in the lactation unit, who agreed to participate in the research, by signing the Informed Consent Form (FICF), which was carried out during the month of November in 2020 in a lactation Hospital located at the Hospital Fundação Santa Casa de Misericórdia in Belém PA. Data were processed in the IRAMUTEQ® software and descriptively analyzed using the word cloud method. The characterization of the participants, the majority 92% were female. With an average age of 45 years (standard deviation ± 8.2). This research allowed us to know, through basic lexicography, the most frequent vocabulary through the speeches, pointed out more specific to the handlers' understanding of questions related to good handling and hygiene practices in the lactation service. It was evident to analyze that most handlers have knowledge in the items handling and personal hygiene, use of protective equipment. They showed insufficient knowledge, difficulties in understanding the conservation of formulas. Therefore, despite having a certain knowledge, it is necessary to observe, if there is the execution of the activities in practice, they are carried out properly. Continuous monitoring is necessary. Due to the growing interest in reports of food selectivity, sensory sensitivities and atypical eating behaviors in individuals with ASD, this study aimed to create an educational booklet on feeding for children with ASD. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review, with articles published in Portuguese and English in the last six years for the elaboration of an educational product, carried out in the VHL, LILACS and SCIELO databases. The descriptors and combinations used were "autism spectrum disorder and nutrition", "autism spectrum disorders and child nutrition" in Portuguese and English, respectively. Results: With the selection of 07 articles, based on their data, an educational product, of the booklet type, entitled "Nutritional care for professional nutritionists" was structured, containing 24 pages, divided into 6 parts. Discussion: The nutritional aspects involved include habits and difficulties in relation to the feeding of children with ASD, the presence of dysfunctional eating habits being observed, and strategies are established for the management of the difficulties present and the symptomatology of the disorder. Search in literature for results that discuss about the pattern of eating habits in high-risk pregnancy. A review research was made in the databases of MEDLINE (International Literature in Health Sciences); LILACS – Latin-American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences; Cochrane Collaboration PMC (PubMed Central); Scielo; Virtual Health Library (BVS) and Google Scholar. As an inclusion criterion, articles published in full, online, in Portuguese and English in the period from January 2015 to 2021, were selected. As exclusion criterion, articles not relevant to the research for the defined descriptors. At first, 151 articles were found, among those, 9 which met the research objective, were selected. From the results, it was possible to notice that eating habits influence the mother’s health during the gestational period, and also the baby’s health in a short or long term. The study allowed us to verify that the variety of articles covering the specific objectives of the research is relatively low, which are based on relating food consumption with the complications that arise during pregnancy and understanding the importance of nutritional status during this period. Among the articles found, the most mentioned complications were Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) and Pregnancy-Specific Hypertensive Disease (DHEG). To develop an educational technology (ET) for pregnant women on nutritional care in hypertension, as a prevention and control tool. A qualitative study of methodological development was carried out, which took place through an integrative literature review, with the selection of 7 studies and then the production of an ET. Consumption of green vegetables, fish, cereals, whole grains, nuts, fruits, vegetable oils, milk, dairy products, orange vegetables, fortified foods such as flour and dairy alternatives, and lean meats, showed a protective relationship against the development of gestational hypertension. The most related micronutrients in the prevention of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy were magnesium, iron, folate, iodine, potassium, calcium and vitamin D. Afterwards, the ET was prepared, of the digital booklet type, based on what was evidenced by the studies. There is little availability of studies related to the topic addressed, making it important to carry out more research on this topic. The biggest obstacle found was the lack of studies that explain the physiological mechanisms involved in the interaction between nutrients/food and the pathophysiology of gestational hypertension, in order to justify the beneficial (or harmful) properties of foods for better control of hypertension during pregnancy. The preparation of an açaí milk drink enriched with whey protein was carried out to meet the nutritional demands of athletes and sportspeople, aiming to provide energy and increase caloric intake during sports. To this end, in addition to the standard formulation, sweetened with refined sugar, three beverage formulations with different concentrations of sweeteners were tested to verify their acceptability. After preparing the formulations, samples of the four formulations were sent for microbiological and composition analysis. The results of microbiological analyzes proved the safety of the drinks that were sent to the physical-chemical and sensorial analysis stage using the hedonic scale and purchase intention methodologies. The results obtained demonstrated that after the standard formulation, the “F1” formulation with added sweetener was the best accepted by the public, and the results from the sensory tests demonstrated the feasibility of adapting a traditional product, açaí, to meet the specific demands of an expanding market niche, practitioners of physical activities and people looking for practical and nutritious alternatives for gaining muscle mass and increasing caloric intake, and also for individuals in need of replacing traditional sugar.Item Desenvolvimento de planilhas eletrônicas como ferramenta de apoio ao discente no atendimento nutricional(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2022) Oliveira, Wagner Rossi de; Figueiredo, Sandra Maria dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8530470051297070; Gaspar, Daniela Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9245835771527449; Moreira, Jorvana Stanislav Brasil; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2045604189371660Information Technology (IT) have generated profound changes in pedagogical practices in the classroom. The insertion of this new reality in universities is a natural and necessary process. If applied correctly, they can contribute to more effective learning and greater motivation to learn among students. The present study was developed in two stages, where it sought to identify in the literature software-type technologies with educational potential, for nutrition students through an integrative literature review, so that an educational software could be developed, based on electronic spreadsheets, of the open simulator type, as an instrument to support the construction of knowledge in higher education in nutrition. Data collection was carried out between the months of December 2021 to March 2022, in the databases: Portal Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO); Virtual Health Library of the Ministry of Health (BVS) and Google Scholar. Original articles were included that answered the guiding question of this review, available in full, published in Portuguese or English. The final sample consisted of nine articles, which were published between 2016 and 2012. They show the potential of using software for teaching and learning, since four of them were based on spreadsheets, while four studies were authoring software. For the construction of the software, the recursive development methodology was used. The technology was developed using Microsoft Excel software, and allows the user to carry out nutritional anamnesis activities, anthropometric calculations, calculation of nutritional indexes and energy needs, quantification of macronutrients and micronutrients of a food plan from a table of nutritional composition of food and household measures. Hemodialysis, in turn, is a type of dialysis treatment that adopts renal replacement therapy (RRT), which uses a artificial membrane as a filter. To develop an educational technology for support the nutritional care of people with Chronic Kidney Disease, who are in hemodialysis treatment. A qualitative survey of the descriptive-exploratory was carried out. The survey was conducted in February 2021 at the Clinic Uronefro, after approval by the Ethics and Research Committee (ERC) of the University Center of the State of Pará (CESUPA). Twenty patients from the clinic, adults, who had been undergoing hemodialysis for at least 6 months. It was possible to notice that most participants were male in the age range of 41 to 50, 60% were unemployed, 35% presented family income higher than 5,000 and high school of complete education. Regarding nutritional guidance, it was possible to reveal that 100% of patients received guidance by a professional Nutritionist, and guidance given was the reduction in the intake of foods rich in potassium, phosphorus, sodium and liquids, but they still had doubts about some nutrients, preparations and foods. Later, they were asked if they were afraid of consuming any food and 65% answered yes and the most cited foods were shrimp and crab, starfruit and red meat. The present study has assessed the knowledge of the patient's experimented with feeding on dialysis, so the data has served as a subsidy for the digital-shared scale, material was designed in a didactic form, facilitating understanding, aiding to bring knowledge and more options for the proper feed.Item Desenvolvimento de uma tecnologia educativa sobre contagem de carboidratos para pessoas com Diabetes Mellitus(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2022) Souza, Maysa Carvalho Cavalcante de; Marques, Simone do Socorro Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0651248478895645; Campos, Jamilie Suelen dos Prazeres; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4508719756740232; Moura, Carla Acatauassú Ferreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4504006993667915This study has the goal to make a bibliographic review about the efficacy of the carbohydrate counting upon the metabolic and glycemic control, elaborate an educational booklet to facilitate and to make flexible the food choices of the diabetic patients, to assist in the disease control and avoid complications. It is an integrated review of the specialized literature with qualitative approach that has been made through indexed articles search at Virtual Health Library with the support of The National Center for Biotechnology Information (Pub Med). The inclusion criteria were the integral gratuitous database since 2017 to 2021. The exclusion criteria were incomplete articles, divergent and ones did not reply the guiding question. In the end, nine scientific articles were taken. The results showed effective metabolic control for who made the carbohydrate counting and improving of the glycemic control with freedom and food choices flexibilization. It is an effective strategy to allow glycemic control, safety and quality of life. The review allowed to accomplish an educative technology by means of a carbohydrate counting booklet to make easy the understanding about the diabetes and simplify food choices day by day. This present research aimed to evaluate the level of dehydration of athletes practicing jiu jitsu during training. Male amateur athletes aged over 20 (twenty) years up to 59 (fifty-nine) years of age were included in the research, dehydration was analyzed from the difference between body mass at the beginning and end of training. It was verified the time of exercise practice, the water intake before, during and after the training, the temperature of the drink consumed to hydrate, the hydration orientation, the drink used for hydration outside the gym, the number of cups consumed by day out of training, and finally the significant degree of dehydration of the fighters. Although daily scientific studies prove its effectiveness, only 39% of babies up to six months are exclusively breastfed worldwide. The interruption of EBF within the first 6 months of the baby's life is pointed out as the concept of early weaning. Identify the factors that influence the occurrence of early weaning. The present work can be defined as a systematic literature review. For the execution of the work, searches were carried out for original scientific articles and books on breastfeeding, breastfeeding, breast milk, human milk and early weaning. Of the 61 articles used in the construction of the work, 13.11% had outcomes that demonstrate relevance for responding to the general and specific objective, both established at its beginning. By analyzing the studies, it is possible to say that early weaning is still prevalent and may be caused by several factors that are closely linked to the breastfeeding woman. At the same time, there were already followers, including high performance athletes, who adopted the ideology, with the advent and strengthening of the media and scientific works, who came to prove that it is possible to stay healthy, hypertrophy, lose weight or gain weight following the diet vegetarian. We carry out a basic, descriptive and bibliographic research by gathering existing and published information and data. The work aims to verify the relationship between vegetarian diet and performance in athletes, being the deductive method, being a basic, descriptive, bibliographical and analytical research, being categorized in review. The result was that, if the athlete enjoys an adequate and harmonious vegetarian diet, he can have the same performance results as non-vegetarian athletes. From this article, it is concluded that vegetarian diets are safe and effective for athletes when performed along with nutritional guidance. This study is a literature review, in which a search was carried out in the databases: LILACS, MEDLINE, SCIELO, BIREME and PUBMED, using the terms Alzheimer's disease, food, nutrients, prevention, between years from 2010 to 2022, using as inclusion criteria articles available in full in Portuguese, Spanish or English. 170 references were found in the searched databases, however, only 17 articles were selected, following the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Food in the prevention of Alzheimer's Disease proved to be a somewhat encouraging path. To understand how a carbohydrate-restricted diet can compromise the athlete's performance and if there is any change in body composition. Considering all the aforementioned context, this work sought to carry out an integrative literature review based on data analysis in the format of scientific articles, addressing publications between the years 1998 to 2021, through systematic searches using the databases electronic: Medline, Science Direct, Saúde Total, Biodelta, Scielo and the bibliographic collection available in the library of the Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará. Data collection was carried out from September to October 2022. After reviewing and interpreting the studies that were selected, it is noted that the low carb diet can indeed negatively influence the performance of athletes, mainly referring to professional athletes. In addition, the low carb diet can influence body composition in a short period with an addition to weight. The diet is of paramount importance that is always individualized and pleasurable for greater adherence by the individual and needs more research with an emphasis on sportsmen for better results.
