Having excellent quality and waste management can mean greater approval from their customers, leaving them more satisfied and gaining loyalty. Furthermore, this behavior contributes to improving the production process, as it reduces pollution and production costs, in addition to better disposing of waste. This work presents a case study carried out in a company from Pará, in the field of manufacturing men's, women's and children's underwear, and fitness fashion. Through interviews with the company's partners and on-site visits, the study aims to map the company's production process, identify the waste that is generated in this process, analyze the destination options that this waste has in order to minimize their environmental impact. The main goal is to do the feasibility economic analysis of the maintenence costs that are included in the actual scenery and estimate different possibilities of costs decrease over the years. Thought the study of different authors works surrounding the Palm´s Oil and it´s logistics, of transport modes, fleet types and economic viability a analysis for the choice of the best modal to be suggested based on criteria was made. The present work was defined as a quantitative and qualitative research, as it presents an approach of both of this forms. Thus, this paper analyzes data and scenarios for the palm oil shipment to two states in the northern region, Rondônia and Acre. The assumption is that the application of this methodology can optimize storage, avoid waste of time, raw materials and financial resources, which would increase the profitability of the company. The 5S methodology is based on five steps to improve the functioning of a company: sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain. Nowadays, this methodology has been well disseminated in the market and has demonstrated to be a reliable option for organizational problems, especially in sectors such as warehouses. The research was conducted with the participation of the company's employees, and it had a total duration of five months. As means of data collection, the following resources were used: interviews, observation, on-site visits, and a form created for the follow-up of the proposed activities. After the implementation, it was possible to observe the team's acceptance to perform the new actions; the gain of space, due to the organization of the material; improvement in cleaning; less product losses, due to damage or expiration date; and less time spent searching for the items. Any investment has high risks and therefore it is necessary that the investor is prepared with planning, management and knowledge of the market. However, due to the complexity and the high costs of this enterprise, the choice of the most appropriate alternative for the lease decision is generally complex, thus increasing the company's competitiveness. So if the investor wants to increase the probability of success in his business, he must start leasing the right place and, in this way, can succeed in the operation. The paper analyzes the scenario in which a particular investor knows the market of fuel stations and knows the process of operation and has more than one option of choice for their investment. The AHP method facilitated the logical structuring of the problem and the generation of results based on qualitative and quantitative criteria. As a consequence, the index developed provides a tool for decision-making about which type of fueling station to be leased and for the search for the best investment. In addition, based on the general analyzes obtained in a specific study, the work aims to contribute to the improvement of the decision of the entrepreneurs. Being an outsourced company, these charges are even higher, especially when the production chain where the organization is inserted moves great financial values and demands high operational quality, such as aluminum production. Among several methods for improvement, the Six Sigma philosophy proposes that excellence will never be achieved, as there are always opportunities for improvement, but that optimization should be pursued until the results achieved are acceptable. The study of this work is based on the search to improve the machine fleet performance of the studied company starting from the application of the method used in Six Sigma projects, the DMAIC methodology. The application of the five steps of the methodology allowed to identify the problem related to the maintenance sector and the machine fleet availability indicator that showed the 55% metric, which generates contractual billing losses. The purpose of the study is to optimize it to achieve financial gains, operational reliability and improved customer satisfaction. By measuring data and using quality tools it was possible to analyze which machines and which factors produced undesirable results, thus facilitating decision making to solve the problem. That way, the application of the methodology allowed to reach and exceed the goal, initially proposed to increase to 80% the machine fleet availability indicator. The Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method presents itself as suitable for the planning of the macro-space of a department store. Through this method, it is possible to identify the local characteristics, their limitations, needs and elucidate the interrelations of the business in order to generate alternatives of physical arrangement that meet their requirements. The proposals generated needed to be evaluated in order to generate a better result in terms of the organization and optimization of the flow, compared to the gender of the store in question. The main objective of this work is to evaluate layout proposals generated through the PSL and other data sources - collaborators and external clients - with the help of a multi-criteria decision support method, and the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) tool was selected to perform This task. It compares alternatives peer-to-peer through a hierarchical analysis based on the decision-making process of a manager. The work is directed to department stores that present challenges in defining and arranging their departments for increased productivity, as well as reconcile with the customer's purchasing decision process. The method was applied in a home center located in Belém-PA that needs to define the new physical arrangement of the store that underwent a lease process of a relevant portion for an outsourced company. Three different layout alternatives were generated, evaluated through four quantitative and qualitative criteria, and one proposal was selected, being detailed through sensitivity analysis made available through the Software Expert Choice used in the development of the work. Thus, the present paper made an analysis and a measure of quality in an automotive paint shop located in Belem-Pa, and with this gauging, obtained data to create an action plan to improve the quality of the service. The study used the tool SERVQUAL, which consist on a research of 22 items from the dimensions of tangibility, reliability, readiness, safety and empathy that help a better comprehension of the expectations and the perceptions of the services provided from the shop, being the same items approached in two different occasions in the research. Analyzing economically its viability of the business, segment and the implementation of the proposed enterprisement. An analysis made through questionnaires trying to reach a real need and get knowing a culture of the market of Pará. The initial proposal is a thematic bar turned to sports, where through market research was possible measure and analyze, target public, suppliers and competitors, thus, being able to start up the decision making in the planning of the MACLAREN'S BAR. The proposal of the new enterprisement is an innovative concept in the city because its layout is focused on various themes of sports according to event transmitted in the day and by offering a menu with affordable prices for its clients. The financial analysis was defined through economic studies based on data collected and calculations made over the need for the investment needed to start the business, besides the projections of possible scenarios which may be faced by the entrepreneurs in this region.Item A contabilidade de custos como ferramenta de análise de lucratividade e formação de preço na empresa de materiais de construção XWZ(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019) Mota, Érica Wanzeler; Fernandes, Alexandre Augusto Haick; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5543857806408975The development of the global scenario has caused numerous changes in the labor market, because of this, companies had to improve to remain survivor at the high level of competitiveness. With this, the creation of competitive differentials is of paramount importance, where the control of the expenses assists in the business success. In view of these facts, this work has the purpose of analyzing the profitability and the formation of the sale price at the company XWZ in Ananindeua-PA. As for the research methodology, it is based on a descriptive study, since the facts are observed and analyzed without modification. It has a qualitative-quantitative approach, being quantitative as to the use of accounting procedures and qualitative by the analysis of cost information, and as for the technical procedures, it is a case study, with documentary and bibliographical. As a result of the XWZ's 2017 data collection, the ABC's ten most profitable products were identified by ABC, totaling 33.43% of gross revenue. The results demonstrate that the company has made a favorable contribution margin on its merchandise, where the geo.4 "C / 4M STD coating is the most profitable product. And according to the margin of safety, made sure the pump sub. 0.75CV is giving harm to the company. Using the mark-up index, it was noted that prices are being supplied inadequately. Thus, the present work sought, based on the Balanced Scorecard, to implement the strategic vision in a beef cattle company in Pará called Fazenda Aruans. Based on the use of Mission, Vision and Values, the strategic drivers, interviews were carried out with directors of the institution to outline these three important vectors and then have the ability to draw up a SWOT Matrix, evaluating the internal factors of the company with external factors to obtain more consistent data and write a credible work within the focus company. With these two tools applied, it was possible to outline the company's strategic objectives and relate them to each BSC perspective in the Strategic Map, correlating the objective of each of the company's areas with the business desire, therefore, two main objectives were identified: double the number of animals on the same volume of land that the company has and verticalize the organization's production chain. This work tried to develop the Microsoft's tool, Power BI, to enhance the decision making process of the company. Based on qualitative and quantitative researches, of exploratory and descriptive character, the case of study allowed for the understanting of actual state of the company, which develop their indicators using manual sheets and graphs. As a result, four panels of indicators were obtained for every process of a sector, which allowed for the indicators' automation, rearrangement to a single place, the management improvement on the company's point of view and the reduction of effort for the indicator's development. In this sense, those who choose to invest in the implementation of a Quality Management System through the elaboration of a Quality Manual, aim to standardize their main processes, record their culture and, consequently, optimize their management. For Majoca, a small biscuit shop based in the city of Belém-PA, having a Quality Manual that covers institutional, operational, and strategic aspects, is a significant step in the search for sustainable success. The methodology for creating the manual followed a qualitative approach, of an exploratory nature, and used premises from the QMS and inspiration from the ISO 9001:2015 standard to lay the foundations for future expansion of the company. Thus, the present work, in addition to applying the necessary tools to plan strategically, from a financial point of view, seeks to emphasize the importance of preparing this planning. A case study was carried out based on bibliographical research about the general theme of the work, market scenario and tools, with a qualitative methodology. This research presents the elaboration of a strategic financial planning in a landscaping company located in Belém, metropolitan city of the State of Pará. Finally, it was shown that strategic planning can be used as a strategic tool to make the company more competitive, so that all efforts are directed towards her real need. This paper presents the study about the economic and financial viability for the implantation of a gas station, inside a logistic terminal, in the city of Barcarena - PA. The literature review of the methods related to Economic Engineering provided the basis for the project development. The goal of this study is to demonstrate the viability of the project through the use of financial indicators, within three scenarios, the realistic, the pessimistic and the optimistic. From the information provided by the project manager, the financial indicators were applied in order to obtain a specific result for each one of them. After this, the analysis of the scenarios was made, these were designed according to forecasts of possible change in the local market. Will be used tools for computational simulation of prevision of different scenarios and analytic results, especially Monte Carlo's simulation, in order to minimize the uncertainties presents in the store's cash flow. This research is based on concepts of Economical Engeenier, with emphasis on Net Present Value (NPV). The simulation is realized in Excel and Crystal Ball software, where three scenarios are created to analyze the system behavior face of market variability. The first one, without refund growth, it shows a bigger probability of negative NPV, 75,10%. The second one, with a growth of 5% of refund, it shows an investment refund probability of 86,63%, but still, exist a risk to the investment. At last but not least, with a refund growth of 10%, it shows that when adding this refund value on the investment is almost certain, 99,80%. The goals reached shows that the enterprise with his actual administration ways, will not have satisfactory returns on his initial investments. The investor/sponsor has more turns and possibilities so the returns of his actions must be observed for a better and more efficient use of resources. Given this scenario, this work aims at realizing the economic and financial viability of the implantation of the Industrial District in the city of Castanhal, based on public initiative. It will be used as computer simulation tools, in this case Crystal Ball to eplicate different scenarios and analysis of results, using the Monte Carlo Method as an end to heat and risks. For such analysis, use the feasibility study techniques of the technology to obtain results through the methods. Methodologically, it is a quantitative, the procedures to be characterized as a case study, with an unistandard interview, with form and observation. The illustration was performed by Crystal Ball software, where 3 macro scenarios were performed, with scenarios: pessimistic, ealistic and optimistic, to analyze how variables and behavior over the project period. For the pessimistic scenario 1, it is possible to have 12.1% of investment unfeasibility, a dominant nomenclature index, there are no indicators, and increases of almost 50% of the generated values can occur, according to NPV without realistic space 1 presents R $ 2,492,916.20 and not optimistic 2 R $ 4,301,840.00. In this way, organizations in this sector need to achieve great excellence in the quality of their services rendered in order to maintain the reliability of their consumers. In order to know the quality of the services offered by the cafeteria, an interview was prepared with the participation of 64 clients. It was used as a tool to elaborate the work on the scale Servqual, which consists of a scale that compares the expectations of the market with the perception that it has of the quality of the service that is provided. It is necessary to demonstrate the steps and methods used in the development of these analyses, given the high number of businesses that close prematurely due to a lack of adequate financial planning. The study examines the current market conditions, identifying opportunities and challenges for new entrepreneurs. The methodology includes a detailed bibliographical and documentary analysis of economic aspects, as well as a Case Study, taking into account initial and operational costs, and revenue projections. The research also encompasses a critical review of consumption trends, changes in purchasing patterns, and consumer preferences. Additionally, the work explores the importance of scenario analysis to anticipate potential changes in the business environment, seeking to identify external variables that may impact the venture, enabling the formulation of adaptive strategies. For this purpose, an initial investment survey was conducted, cash flow projection was analyzed, a Minimum Attractive Rate of Return (MARR) was defined, and financial indicators such as NPV, IRR, and Payback were calculated. The expected results include valuable insights for entrepreneurs interested in the stationery sector, providing a solid foundation for informed decision-making. By addressing not only economic viability but also the nuances of entrepreneurship and market dynamics, this study aims to contribute to the sustainable success of new ventures in the sector and to any conceptualization of a new business.
