Os serviços públicos municipais e a segregação racial nos centros urbanos à luz do direito urbanístico

Abstract

The present work aims to analyze the relationship between Urban Law and racial segregation, guiding the historical construction of large urban centers and how theblack population is positioned within these spaces until the present day. The research was carried out using the deductive hypothetical methodology, that is, several bibliographical works were studied, by researchers from the legal, sociological, philosophical and urbanareas, as well as statistics made by the country's scientificinstitutes. In summary, the defense is based on the thesis that public services are the main tools to deconstruct the scenario of racial segregation within cities.
