Thermography is a non-invasive and low-cost imaging test that requires little time for its use, being an adjuvant method in the evaluation of acute metabolic responses through heat variation. To evaluate the thermography and its alterations comparing with the subjective effort scale PSE/BORG in athletes of the basic categories of soccer in a club in the city of Belém - PA. 70 thermographic images and 73 modified PSE/BORG scores were captured, between 8 games of the Paraense Under-20 Championship and the Brazilian Under-23 Aspirants Championship, including 22 athletes registered in the BID (CBF Newsletter). For analysis of thermographic images, the present work used the FLIR TOOOLS software. Athletes were submitted to thermography capture and PSE/BORG scale after the end of the matches. Data organization was performed using Microsoft Word, Excel, Bioestat 5.5 and GraphPad Prism 8.4..2. For analysis of the data obtained, the Kruskal-Wallis tests were performed, adopting a (p < 0.05) being statistically significant. All practitioners signed the Free and Informed Consent Term. The number of thermographic images captured varied between 6-12 between collection days. The highest median of variation occurred on the eighth day (0.4C°) with a p=0.265 in the anterior thigh muscles. The highest median thermal variation of the anterior leg muscles occurred on the fifth and seventh days, respectively (0.4C°) with p=0.848. During the analysis, 73 PSE/BORG scores were performed, the seventh and eighth days with values greater than or equal to 7. The comparative analysis found a negative correlation between the temperature of the anterior thigh muscles and the PSE/BORG scale (p=0.206) without differ significantly from a value of zero. The correlation between anterior leg muscles temperature and PSE/BORG scores was positive (p=0.412) without significantly differing from a zero correlation. The use of thermography and the PSE/BORG scale are relevant in clinical practice for better health and better use of athletes. The present study demonstrated that there was no correlation between thermography and its numerical variations with the anterior thigh muscle segments using the PSE/BORG scale. However, there was a positive correlation between the anterior leg muscles and the scores. Therefore, it is important to emphasize the need for an analysis for a longer period in relation to this work. proved to be effective in preventing injuries in the evaluated athletes.Item Anteprojeto arquitetônico de um instituto de desenvolvimento esportivo e educacional em Belém – PA: Instituto Rei Pelé(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2023) Oliveira, João Victor Teixeira de; Kamel, Tales Albuquerque; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0562973157164053; Silva, Paulo André Dantas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4933337069569702; Nascimento, Flávio Campos do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2294084466238857The Brazilian socioeconomic scenario shows that young people and children, whose human development is compromised due to their exposure to social vulnerability, perceive sports as an opportunity to ascend to a more promising life condition. In this context, the scarcity of sports spaces with the necessary quality also stands out, highlighting the lack of these facilities that serve the community. Sport emerges as a powerful tool for social transformation, being the central point of the proposed project. Therefore, the general objective of this work is to carry out an architectural preliminary project for a sports and educational development institute in Belém – PA, named Instituto Rei Pelé, which was conceived as an aggregator for social projects in the city, promoting equal access to activities sports and offering development opportunities for low-income young people. The methodology used has a qualitative-quantitative approach and descriptive research procedures. Architecture plays a fundamental role in this context, not just as a physical structure, but as a means to create spaces that inspire, empower and unite the community in search of more equal social development. The Institute's project proposes it as a model that transcends conventional architecture, positioning itself as an integrating force for a significant transformation of society.Item Avaliação termográfica em um atleta amador de futebol americano com desconforto musculoesquelético na cidade de Belém-Pará-Brasil: estudo de caso(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2022) Freitas, Andrey Bruno Cordeiro; Acioli, Carlos Alberto Lima; Oliveira, Wellington Pinheiro de; Motta, Rafael Araujo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6594164756434895; Sousa, Ayda Tieko Ajisaka; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8181938351959435; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4902455106917702American football is a sport with high contact and effort, which can lead to several complaints of pain and musculoskeletal discomfort. Thermographic evaluation has the ability to detect the increase in temperature presented by the injured anatomical areas. A case report, with a quantitative approach, of the evaluation of an American football player from the Remo Lions team in the city of Belém, PA, Brazil. The study was monitored by collecting the adapted MIR-Q monitor, numerical pain assessment scale (Dor RNS) and capturing images using the FLIR C3-X compact thermographic camera. The athlete reported that he trained at the club for 1 year, practices the sport 9 hours a week, after completing the class, being reported on the RNS pain scale grade 5 in the lumbar region and shoulder, heavily, with a feeling of pressure and intermittent. In the thermographic capture of the athlete only in the evaluation of the posterior region, in the ankle region, a temperature difference of 1.0°C was verified, suggesting a risk of injury with significant potential. The case report described shows an evaluation method that has been gaining ground in the identification of musculoskeletal disorders in athletes and presents reflections that can help health professionals in the quantitative diagnosis.Item Estádio municipal de Castanhal – PA: proposta de anteprojeto arquitetônico(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2023-12-07) Bassalo, Vítor de Melo; Kamel, Tales Albuquerque; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0562973157164053; Cavaleiro, Luan Rodrigo dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8067544576620985; Figueiredo, Vinícius Miranda deThe overall objective of this work is to propose a preliminary design for a football stadium and multi-purpose arena for the city of Castanhal, Pará.
