With the advent of technology, visible and ubiquitous, there was also the need to produce more IoT devices, which are nothing but embedded systems, many of them, microprocessed. Along with this, the opportunity arises for more vacancies for computer engineering professionals. However, it is notable that many academics in the field are unaware of the step-by-step construction of a microprocessed embedded system, as well as the concept of embedded Linux. This work aims to develop a documentation that contains the development of an embedded microprocessed system in Linux, using as basis the BeagleBone Black development board. The process will be described in the form of a report, using bibliographic and practical research with the Texas Instruments development environment.

We present a systematic literature review on Brazil regarding bio-inspired algorithms. This is a study on the bibliographic review of articles published in federal universities in the last four years (2016-2020). This study searched the indexed literature in the bibliographies by the following Portuguese keywords in computer science: “bioinspiradas”, “metaheurísticas” and “inteligência artificial”. This undergraduate thesis presents a brief introduction in the subject of bio-inspired algorithms, meta-heuristics and artificial intelligence and subsequently the results of the published studies about bio-inspired algorithms were analyzed, evaluating which of them utilized the Ant-Colony Optimization (ACO).

In an increasingly digital and interconnected world, data security becomes imperative. In the business context, leaks and exposures of sensitive information pose significant threats to company databases. Encryption in databases emerges as an essential protection, ensuring confidentiality and integrity, crucial elements to prevent potential harm and ensure trust in data storage and management. This study conducts a literature review on encryption, highlighting its historical significance and objectives, such as information confidentiality and integrity. It explores the evolution of encryption, introducing Oracle and MySQL Database Management Systems, emphasizing the security features of both. During the research journey, different encryption techniques and security tools were found. The importance of encryption in protecting sensitive data is emphasized. The study contributes to understanding security practices in Oracle and MySQL, proving valuable for information security professionals.

Because of the increase in the use of smartphones to access an internet and the accomplishment of daily tasks through applications such as ordering food and making payments, a possibility of creating a tool to facilitate the accomplishment of daily tasks was observed. Scheduling classes depending on the third party intervention becomes a time consuming task and as times are difficult to complete, several times or a lot of time with your time consumed due to a wait to execute a schedule, another hindrance is a delay without answering by phone when Student can get phone service. Failures in this way make a scheduler process complex, time-consuming and stressful. This is a database development program to generate a mobile application that performs the management of class schedules, scheduling classes through the application, without need for confirmation by people, only through the system, with an intention to automate the process, making it possible for you to perform your schedule in the shortest time possible through your smartphone anywhere.

Responsible adoption is a matter whose visibility has been increasing recently and is likely to continue to grow in the coming years due to activism, especially through the dissemination of the cause online. In contrast, there are still a large number of abandoned animals, making it necessary to create innovative ways to facilitate and encourage the adoption process. The development of a mobile application in Android platform for adoption of domestic pets was proposed, using popular technologies in the current labour market to do so, such as Android Studio and Laravel. The results of this work culminate in the publication of the application in Google virtual store and also the benefits brought socially, as the use as a new means of responsible adoption.

The Government of the State of Pará discloses its public acts through its Official Gazette, making them available in a format aimed at human consumption. However, the lack of structure of the format provided makes it difficult to analyze data by computer systems, hampering the obtaining of relevant information for inspection in a quick manner. For its solution, a computational model is proposed to synthesize data from the Official Gazette ofthe State of Pará, in a well-defined model, in order to assist systematic analysis supported by computational tools. For this, this work addresses the fundamental processes for a model to be able to structure and extract public information from the State of Pará, as well as the entire process of implementing it, using techniques that allow the extraction of information from unstructured data. Finally, the proposed model managed to achieve the expected objectives, synthesizing the information provided in the Official Gazette of the State of Pará and persisting in a database, making the analysis of data faster and more efficient and faster.

Keeping informed is essential for problem solving, due to the high number of accumulated data, information systems were developed to ensure not only the collection, but also the standardized management and sharing of information. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused chãos around the world, causing governments to seek solutions to end this problem. The high number of new cases of the disease, deaths and recovered daily led to the creation of platforms such as websites and applications to inform and guide the population, making information systems important in this fight. In this article, 6 of these platforms were selected, in order to highlight their use in the pandemic, initially identifying their main characteristics, followed by the creation of comparative tables that pointed out relevant information such as the focus of each platform, the form of access, as well as problems encountered, these and other points were developed following criteria, which led to the choice of each analyzed platform. With this, it was observed that knowledge about the use of health information systems is important, however the lack of initial information about the disease, as well as political and social differences made it difficult to collect data for the creation of platforms, pointing out that many Countries need to rethink their ways of analyzing and acting in the face of problems such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Photovoltaic energy is a source of sustainable energy that is constantly growing in Brazil and in the world, factors for this growth are the reduction of costs and the continuous increases in electricity tariffs. As its name suggests, it is the generation of electrical energy through light (photo, which comes from the Greek "phos" which means light and voltaic which is derived from "volt" which is the unit of electromotive force). However, although photovoltaic energy is becoming popular, for a part of the population it is still a type of exotic technology, for which information is not easily found. Which can lead lay people, who want to take advantage of this type of technology, to make mistakes when purchasing it. To reduce this lack of information, we developed a platform that makes it possible to compare products related to photovoltaic systems. For the development of this project, we used Adobe XD, VScode, MariaDB and HeidiSQL tools, with these tools it was possible to generate the comparison platform.

In the “Information Era”, companies deal with vast volumes of data. Information overload hampers decision-making. Digital transformation is pivotal, involving data integration through data pipelines. These processes convert raw data into actionable insights for business analysis. This study aims to compare the performance of different pipelines, ETL and ELT, analyzing data transformation time to ensure availability and decision-making efficiency. The comparison between ELT and ETL shows the significance of each method's specific application. In this study using AdventureWorks, ETL outperformed by transforming data before loading, unlike ELT. The difference between code usage and tools like Pentaho highlights a trade-off between performance and accessibility. Choosing between ELT and ETL should account for project needs, while future studies may deepen the understanding of these processes.

Agriculture in the State of Pará represents a great importance for the state, having a wide territorial area for the cultivation of food, but there is still a certain deficiency in the application of technologies to assist the rural producer, for the management and planning of his agricultural production. And in this course conclusion work I present the development of a mobile application to support management in agribusiness, aiming to solve the main challenges of the rural producer, such as managing the products used in planting, controlling costs and the difficulty of planning and scheduling their activities from camp.

With the emergence of games in the 70s, much has been improved over the years, where games were for a more childlike audience and there was no great market demand, nowadays it has become one of the most profitable industries in the world whole. Generating billionaire revenues, the games industry continues to expand with the emergence of new developer companies, which use increasingly modern tools for the production of their titles, which are used both in the major game producers and by those who want to create their own independent titles. Based on these facts, this work aims to demonstrate the stages of developing an independent game in the RPG genre, using the RPG Maker MV tool for desktop.

The games were integrated in the society, in its initial stages, in the decade of 70s, through the children’s target audience. Nevertheless, as news technologies were arising and the game industry were growing, the game market emerged itself even further in the society e became a huge profitable industry, responsible for generating billion-dollar revenue in a lot of countries and reaching a large target audience. Keeping in mind all this considerable growing, big companies make their game development platforms available through network, attracting not only the biggest companies of games that are already inserted in industry, but also those who are inspired to become game developments. With this purpose in mind, the objective of this work is to show the process of developing an indie game by using the RPG Make MV platform for desktop.

Technological advancement reflects on an ever-increasing demand for connection, requiring the Internet to adapt to the scenario that is coming. So, the next step in supporting this amount of connections, devices, and new applications is the integration of the Internet with specific technologies such as Big Data, cloud computing, 5G, and artificial intelligence. This new scenario is nothing more than the Internet of Things, a global network capable of supporting and interconnecting all current and future services. For these services to meet customer needs in the best possible way, it is necessary to collect a large amount of data, needing to identify all the devices in the network. It is precisely at this point that RFID becomes essential to the functioning of the Internet of Things, because as soon as the different layers of the network can see themselves, new solutions become possible, such as autonomous cars. Thus, to exemplify the scenario described above, this monograph proposes a prototype of an access control system immersed in an Internet of Things environment, highlighting the role of RFID as an identifier of objects and people.

This final paper presents an experience report on the implementation of the Domain Driven Design (DDD) methodology in a scheduling system. The problem arises in the application of the domain-based methodology, as DDD offers a set of good practices and standards, but its determinations are very general, which can change depending on the complexity of the business. In view of the mentioned considerations, the question raised by this work arises, which is how to implement DDD in the development of a web scheduling system for a barber shop. The objective is to develop a DDD-based methodology for creating a web scheduling system offering as a result the development stages using strategic and tactical modeling, from domain study, context separation, context map, DDD patterns and architecture of software. Therefore, the final proposal of this work provides all stages of the development of the Domain Driven Design method for a specific business in order to demonstrate a way to carry out this project keeping in mind that it is possible to apply in countless scenarios with different business complexities in the development of a software.

In recent years, with the advancement of the most diverse technologies, the division between the real and the virtual world has become increasingly tenuous, this has caused diverse impact on the daily life and work of the people and with the exponential increase in data creation, allowed the creation of sectors and markets. The industry that until then was considered an area with great technological advances was surpassed by the IT sector, in this way the governments observing these advances created plans of how to incorporate these technologies to their industrial parks, thus creating the fourth industrial revolution, nevertheless this revolution did not is limited to large industrial parks, it can be applied in small and medium businesses, making the most of the technical capacity of the professionals of the area of computer engineering that play a unique role in this revolution integrating the business processes with tools and technologies adding quality and value in these deals.

The growth of plants in homes became popular due to the change in mentality about sustainability and healthiness. However, cultivation requires time, space, knowledge and other factors, which keep people away from the interest of growing gardens. Thus, this work aims to create a sensorized environment for the cultivation of residential horticultures. For this, the factors that most impact on the development of plants were mapped and a database was developed capable of storing those data. Connected directly to the database, a mobile application was built to show the user real-time information of a plants’ environment, which were collected from the sensors that are within the elaborated compact greenhouse model.

The market is always changing, mainly in the forms of payments, since solutions like credit cards, new technologies always appear to increase the competitiveness of the market, looking for the convenience for the user and the service time delivered for the same, the growth in solutions using the digital wallet method have been expanding significantly in the world, showing that the focus is the search for digitalization of the service from end to end. In this scenario, the objective of the work was to develop a product that will provide greater convenience for the user and ease in making their transactions in a shorter time. Using the applied methodology, secondary data were analyzed by the authors where they reached a satisfactory solution. With the definition of the scope of the product, we proceeded to the development where a mobile application was created that will make payments through QR Code technology, with several functionalities for the client's routine.

Given the technological evolution of today's society, more technological resources began to be used within the field of education. At the same time, blockchain has been expanding to different areas, including education, and can be used, for example, in student certification and permanent academic registration. In this work, a literature review on blockchain technology and the possibilities of application in the field of education was developed, using the academic repositories Google Scholar, IEEE Xplore Digital Library and Capes journals in the literature search. It was possible to observe from the results that the implementation of blockchain in education is feasible, however, the technology is currently more useful as a support tool, given the presence of problems still unresolved, such as system scalability and issues related to ethical practices in the use of blockchain.
