Along with this, the opportunity arises for more vacancies for computer engineering professionals. However, it is notable that many academics in the field are unaware of the step-by-step construction of a microprocessed embedded system, as well as the concept of embedded Linux. This work aims to develop a documentation that contains the development of an embedded microprocessed system in Linux, using as basis the BeagleBone Black development board. This importance is explained in indigenous folklore, in which a legend tells the story of its origin, treating it as a food that saved an entire tribe. But not everything is fantasy, açaí is a food that has many nutritional benefits that have been discovered and explored since the 1990s. This interest produced a growth in the demand for the fruit and its derivatives, resulting in the need for technological solutions in several parts of its productive chain. Thereby, the present work aims to create a mobile application that works as an ad marketplace for the açaí market, optimizing its marketing and bringing ease to its members. For this, it was essential to use the IBGE locations API, which provided the manipulation of the counties of Pará as data for various features of the application. This, preventing people from spending more time doing household duties, such as providing a pet food for your pet. This can cause serious health problems to the animal. The objective of this work is to develop a prototype of an automatic feeder that helps the pet owner to give pet food in intervals with a quantity of feed, configured by a local network. The development of the prototype consisted of home automation concepts. The Arduino Uno platform was used in conjunction with sensors and actuators for the development of the prototype. Being connected is not synonymous with leisure, many responsibilities involve computerized systems and the internet is the means to reach them. Loaded with this thought, this work brings the technical vision behind the implementation of a Mesh network system in a home environment, a technology that increases the Wi-Fi coverage capacity and simplifies the way to connect to the internal network. The work aims to identify the main problems that befall the wireless transmission medium and, through a case study with an applied research nature, introduce changes that directly improve the user experience in terms of stability, mobility and performance. The development indicated that the bad positioning of the access points was the biggest responsible for the instability in the connection, where the implementation of new network devices that guaranteed the performance and brought gains of 611.11%, when comparing the lowest speeds registered. The 2.4GHz coverage achieved strong signal incidence across the scene and the addition of the 5GHz frequency introduced a new level in terms of speed. Both approaches have significant implications in terms of efficiency, collaboration, and results, reflecting the constantly evolving paradigms in the construction industry. In this context, it is essential to analyze and understand which of these options best adapts to the different stages of the project. The present work aims to develop and compare a structural project, between the traditional resource and the BIM methodology, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each method. To carry out this study, the architectural design of a two-story single-family residence was chosen, in which the structural design was carried out using the traditional method following all the necessary steps, therefore the same step was carried out using the BIM methodology. The comparison to highlight the main differences between the systems was made following the essential points that guide a project, starting from research, time measurement and analysis of results. The BIM methodology proved to be more advantageous in the productivity, integration, detailing, maintenance, coordination, and management of a structural project. However, the initial cost of software and project time are higher than the traditional method. Currently, activities in this sector demonstrate low levels of productivity and efficiency throughout the process due to extensive reliance on manual labor, often associated with intense physical effort, which are still predominant characteristics of traditional construction. In this scenario, the industry actively seeks innovative methods to streamline and enhance its processes. The purpose extends beyond improving the performance and quality of buildings, encompassing the reduction of associated environmental impacts. In light of this, modular construction not only emerges as an alternative but also assumes a prominent role by positioning itself as a strategic pathway for transforming the construction industry into a contemporary and efficient entity. By embracing the modular approach, the sector can respond to current demands for efficiency and quality, and more significantly, align promptly with the vision of a future where construction becomes an agile, sustainable, and highly productive industry. Having excellent quality and waste management can mean greater approval from their customers, leaving them more satisfied and gaining loyalty. Furthermore, this behavior contributes to improving the production process, as it reduces pollution and production costs, in addition to better disposing of waste. This work presents a case study carried out in a company from Pará, in the field of manufacturing men's, women's and children's underwear, and fitness fashion. Through interviews with the company's partners and on-site visits, the study aims to map the company's production process, identify the waste that is generated in this process, analyze the destination options that this waste has in order to minimize their environmental impact. Electric vehicles are a promising option to contribute in the energy diversification and an alternative to polluting forms commonly used in urban and rural road infrastructure, despite the differences between the duration recharging and refueling times between the types of vehicles. The inteligente transportation systems represent the implementation of transport advanced technologies to sense and process road conditions to improve traffic fluidity and avoid accidents. Dry construction methods have been gaining an increasingly significant share of this market. In this context, this study proposes a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the construction methods involving ceramic block masonry and dry construction. The specific focus of this study is to examine and calculate the differences in structural loads, assess execution productivity, and determine the costs involved between the two systems. The adopted methodology is based on a case study, with data collection conducted through document analysis and onsite monitoring of the construction project. To obtain the estimated results of this research, there was a comparative analysis of structural loads, taking into consideration the weights of each partition, productivity assessment through the Unitary Production Ratio (UPR), and cost determination using the spreadsheet from the National System of Costs and Indexes for Civil Construction (SINAPI) and cost composition spreadsheets from the Department of Urban Development and Public Works (SEDOP). Based on the results obtained in this case study, we conclude that gypsum board walls stand out in comparison to conventional masonry, presenting notable advantages such as lower costs, ease of compliance with regulations, higher productivity, and a lighter structure.Item Análise de falhas na concepção de projetos, orçamentos e planejamentos de obras públicas: estudo de caso(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2023-11-27) Miranda Neto, Armando Batista de; Silva, Jason Kuroki da; Santos Junior, Evaristo Clementino Rezende dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8092046333311366; Sousa, Andreia do Socorro Conduru de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6242878820643068; Jorge, Bruno Norat; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2657455132558480In Brazil, the topic of public works is widely discussed, however, most of the time superficially and without due analysis regarding its shortcomings and problems; Due to this type of vision, this work aimed to deepen and presente in a statistical and analytical way such gaps that exist throughout the process of a public work in the state of Pará, from the opening of the bidding notice, through the execution and inspection, partial deliveries (measurements), and delivery of the final product. Thought the study of different authors works surrounding the Palm´s Oil and it´s logistics, of transport modes, fleet types and economic viability a analysis for the choice of the best modal to be suggested based on criteria was made. The present work was defined as a quantitative and qualitative research, as it presents an approach of both of this forms. Thus, this paper analyzes data and scenarios for the palm oil shipment to two states in the northern region, Rondônia and Acre. The assumption is that the application of this methodology can optimize storage, avoid waste of time, raw materials and financial resources, which would increase the profitability of the company. The 5S methodology is based on five steps to improve the functioning of a company: sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain. Nowadays, this methodology has been well disseminated in the market and has demonstrated to be a reliable option for organizational problems, especially in sectors such as warehouses. The research was conducted with the participation of the company's employees, and it had a total duration of five months. As means of data collection, the following resources were used: interviews, observation, on-site visits, and a form created for the follow-up of the proposed activities. After the implementation, it was possible to observe the team's acceptance to perform the new actions; the gain of space, due to the organization of the material; improvement in cleaning; less product losses, due to damage or expiration date; and less time spent searching for the items. This class of problems bear great importance for mathematical models that reflect real world situations, such as vehicle routing. The goal of this work is to utilize a genetic algorithm to optimize networked linked capacitated vehicles, in this configuration, all passengers and drivers positions are known in every moment. To make this optimization possible, the problem was mathematically modeled using the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) as inspiration with alterations reflecting the nature of the network linked capacitated vehicles. Any investment has high risks and therefore it is necessary that the investor is prepared with planning, management and knowledge of the market. However, due to the complexity and the high costs of this enterprise, the choice of the most appropriate alternative for the lease decision is generally complex, thus increasing the company's competitiveness. So if the investor wants to increase the probability of success in his business, he must start leasing the right place and, in this way, can succeed in the operation. The paper analyzes the scenario in which a particular investor knows the market of fuel stations and knows the process of operation and has more than one option of choice for their investment. The AHP method facilitated the logical structuring of the problem and the generation of results based on qualitative and quantitative criteria. As a consequence, the index developed provides a tool for decision-making about which type of fueling station to be leased and for the search for the best investment. In addition, based on the general analyzes obtained in a specific study, the work aims to contribute to the improvement of the decision of the entrepreneurs. Scheduling classes depending on the third party intervention becomes a time consuming task and as times are difficult to complete, several times or a lot of time with your time consumed due to a wait to execute a schedule, another hindrance is a delay without answering by phone when Student can get phone service. Failures in this way make a scheduler process complex, time-consuming and stressful. The development of a mobile application in Android platform for adoption of domestic pets was proposed, using popular technologies in the current labour market to do so, such as Android Studio and Laravel. For that, data on the disorder and its treatment were collected through the literature and interviews with therapists. The tool developed from this information is a software that contains a game and uses gamification techniques to make psychological training more interesting to the patient. This tool is also configurable so that it can be adapted to the diferente patients and training the therapist chooses.
