    This survey presents the application of the AHP method (Analytic Hierarchy Process) as a tool for the multicriteria analyses, to meet the best alternative of Palm`s Oil´s expedition in Brazil´s the North region. Thought the study of different authors works surrounding the Palm´s Oil and it´s logistics, of transport modes, fleet types and economic viability a analysis for the choice of the best modal to be suggested based on criteria was made. The present work was defined as a quantitative and qualitative research, as it presents an approach of both of this forms. Thus, this paper analyzes data and scenarios for the palm oil shipment to two states in the northern region, Rondônia and Acre. Finally, it was possible to verify through the multicriteria analysis using the AHP method the most appropriate result for the transportation of palm oil in the region with the use of the best fleet and the lowest cost.

    The proper layout of departments in a retail store is critical to its operation, due to the need for logical sequencing to facilitate replenishment of materials, information flow, and the customer's buying process. The Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method presents itself as suitable for the planning of the macro-space of a department store. Through this method, it is possible to identify the local characteristics, their limitations, needs and elucidate the interrelations of the business in order to generate alternatives of physical arrangement that meet their requirements. The proposals generated needed to be evaluated in order to generate a better result in terms of the organization and optimization of the flow, compared to the gender of the store in question. The main objective of this work is to evaluate layout proposals generated through the PSL and other data sources - collaborators and external clients - with the help of a multi-criteria decision support method, and the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) tool was selected to perform This task. It compares alternatives peer-to-peer through a hierarchical analysis based on the decision-making process of a manager. The work is directed to department stores that present challenges in defining and arranging their departments for increased productivity, as well as reconcile with the customer's purchasing decision process. The method was applied in a home center located in Belém-PA that needs to define the new physical arrangement of the store that underwent a lease process of a relevant portion for an outsourced company. Three different layout alternatives were generated, evaluated through four quantitative and qualitative criteria, and one proposal was selected, being detailed through sensitivity analysis made available through the Software Expert Choice used in the development of the work. Finally, suggestions for improvement for the company were consolidated after interviews with clients and employees in order to enrich the study.

    Insure the quality of the offered services is essential to reach the demand of the clients, the companies who achieve that objective can show a good differential to the other companies on the market. Thus, the present paper made an analysis and a measure of quality in an automotive paint shop located in Belem-Pa, and with this gauging, obtained data to create an action plan to improve the quality of the service. The study used the tool SERVQUAL, which consist on a research of 22 items from the dimensions of tangibility, reliability, readiness, safety and empathy that help a better comprehension of the expectations and the perceptions of the services provided from the shop, being the same items approached in two different occasions in the research. The results showed the central points to be explored for an optimization on the perceived quality from the clients of the company.

    Business Intelligence tools were made to help in the process of decision making, aiming to show throught graph and screens, the information about processes' performance indicators, making them more attractive for gestors. This work tried to develop the Microsoft's tool, Power BI, to enhance the decision making process of the company. Based on qualitative and quantitative researches, of exploratory and descriptive character, the case of study allowed for the understanting of actual state of the company, which develop their indicators using manual sheets and graphs. As a result, four panels of indicators were obtained for every process of a sector, which allowed for the indicators' automation, rearrangement to a single place, the management improvement on the company's point of view and the reduction of effort for the indicator's development. The tool chosen proved to be totally efficent for the improvement of the company's process of decision making and its functioning was evaluated by the company's managers.

    The object of this study is demonstrate with three quantity ways about ideas of demand, what is: time series, casual method and artificial neural system. And with this results, organize comparations about routine data and find the better method to be apply in a gas station. Based on an error measurement, where the one presenting the lowest is considered the best method. In order to achieve this, the objective of this study is to evaluate which of the mathematical methods can be more efficient in forecasting demand. In analyses will be use Excel®, Crystal Ball® and Matlab®. After all work, it is possible see artificial neural system with the best results, in second place we have time series and for last casual method. When we consider the week analyses, it's verified the best results, because of data control and outliers finish. In this form, it is correct consider the artificial neural with the best method when the subject is ideas of demand.

    As a result of a competitive and dynamic market, it is important that organizations, independently of their size, define strategies that can make them grow and achieve their goals. For this purpose, these have to be planned, executed and controlled, by the implentation of some management tools, such as the Balanced Scorecard-BSC, that is based in performance indicators. In spite of this, some managers, especially in Small Enterprises, don´t implement an efficient strategic planning and have difficulties to adopt the performance indicators, due to adverse factors.This research aimed to propose a management model based on BSC, using as a study object a small food manufaturer.The necessary data were collected through the evaluation of the current strategic planning and interviews with managers and employees.In addtion, the environmental was investigated, using the SWOT analysis, ideological rewiew, BSC construction, correlatin matrix and suggestions for the monitoring process of indicators and actions were made. Therefore, a control model of the stratetic planning was elaborated.

    The Problem Analysis and Solution Method (MASP) and the PDCA are two highly regarded methodologies in quality management. Both the MASP and the PDCA aim at fostering continuous improvement in organizations, which makes them essential within the competitive market scenario. The objective of this work is to identify the causes and propose possible solutions to the problems faced by the company MLX UNIFORMES INDÚSTRIA E COMÉRCIO located in Ananindeua/PA, using MASP and Quality Tools, aiming at making the company more competitive, and increase the customers' perception of quality. An investigative research will be carried out in order to identify and diagnose problems in advance based on bibliographical references and documents collected in the company that will serve as a basis for the conclusion of the course work in the company. Afterwards, the first three steps of the MASP will be followed, along with quality tools and brainstorming for decision-making, until the fourth step and proposal of the action plan through 5W1H to put into practice the proposed solutions aiming at improving the quality of the product, greater efficiency in the production line and, consequently, cost reduction.

    The increase and inadequate disposal of urban solid waste is a serious environmental problem, and proper management is necessary to avoid major impacts on the environment. Thus, this paper presents an analysis of the application of quality tools in the municipal solid waste management process of the municipality of Altamira - PA, aiming to propose improvements and corrective actions for the main problems associated with the inadequate provision of waste. The research was developed with the help of quality tools aligned to the four sub stages of the planning stage of the PDCA cycle. In the identification of the problem it was verified that the main one is the disposition of the residues; the analysis of the phenomenon indicated as the main residue the domestic, defining a goal from the gap found; and finally a plan of action was elaborated, proposing actions and improvement measures for each root cause diagnosed.

    A structured logistics planning enables the development of a service system that effectively meets customer needs, as well as measuring costs and investments in the face of the uncertainties provided by the loads transportation infrastructure in Brazil. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to study the Zero Base Budget from the distribution center of Brasil Foods S.A to identify the importance of its control, and its main impacts on logistic results as well. Based on this analysis, a failure in demand forecasting was identified, in which a study was applied to OTIF, which is a tool for measuring and evaluating the quality of logistics processes aligned to customer satisfaction. In addition to identifying the main causes of logistical management problems through quality tools, this paper suggests alternatives to improve service levels and the efficiency of the logistics of the company. Since customer service is one of the most powerful elements available to the organization in pursuit of competitive advantage.
