Item Análise de desempenho da usabilidade e user experience da aplicação VR Alzheimer como auxílio à terapia de marcha de pacientes com doença de Alzheimer(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2021) Correa, Matheus Iran Botelho; Baganha, Alessandra Natasha AlcantaraDementia is a major cause of physical and mental disability in the elderly population worldwide. Among the types of dementia, Alzheimer's disease is the most common, affecting 35 million people. This paper aims to evaluate and discuss the results obtained in the article PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF THE USABILITY AND USER EXPERIENCE OF THE VR ALZHEIMER APPLICATION BY PHYSIOTHERAPISTS AND PATIENTS WITH ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE. In it, the VR Alzheimer's interface is validated against the usability and user experience metrics included in the questionnaires: System Usability Scale and Single Usability Metric, which were applied to physiotherapists in the CESUPA Physiotherapy Clinic. The performance analysis related to the use of virtual reality in gait therapy in patients with Alzheimer's disease was carried out using the user experience questionnaire, which was adapted to facilitate the collection of their experience. And then the main conclusions, general discussion and future perspectives of the research are presented.Item Análise do uso da realidade virtual na reabilitação fisioterapêutica: uma revisão de literatura(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2022-12-14) Negrão, Larissa Nascimento; Gomes, Vitor Hugo FreitasThe use of Virtual Reality as a tool can bring benefits to the physical and mental health of patients undergoing physiotherapeutic treatment. Its use in clinics and hospitals can provide more exciting and pleasurable care. This study aimed to develop a systematic review of the use of Virtual Reality in the rehabilitation of patients undergoing physical therapy treatment. The review focused on scientific articles chosen according to the following inclusion criteria: (1) specific search terms, (2) year of publication from 2018 to November 2022, (3) texts in English or Portuguese and (4) use of academic repositories SCIELO and LILACS. A total of 16 articles were found, and after refinement, only 8 fit the objective of the work. We concluded that Virtual Reality could increase patients' motivation, contributing to their recovery and effectiveness in the treatment of diagnoses of Parkinson's Disease, Cerebral Vascular Accidents, and patients in Intensive Care. When comparing the use of Virtual Reality with conventional physiotherapeutic intervention, the results were equivalent. Future work can deepen the object of this study because, despite observing the effectiveness of Virtual Reality, we cannot say that the approach is more effective than the conventional physiotherapeutic approach due to the scarcity of literature.Item Apoio tecnológico para tratamento de portadores de Transtorno do Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade –TDAH(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019-06-11) Bastos, Caio de Oliveira; Ledo, Caio Seligmann; Ribeiro, Moshe Dayan Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5200296393526606; Baganha, Alessandra Natasha Alcântara Barreiros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0672275617505946; Coêlho, Nilzabeth Leite; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9490576254567337This work proposes an assistive technology tool to aid the treatment of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). For that, data on the disorder and its treatment were collected through the literature and interviews with therapists. The tool developed from this information is a software that contains a game and uses gamification techniques to make psychological training more interesting to the patient. This tool is also configurable so that it can be adapted to the diferente patients and training the therapist chooses.Item Colete de vibrocompressão para auxílio da fisioterapia respiratória(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2021) Salame, Lucas Messias; Gonçalves, Matthews Soares; Baganha, Alessandra Natasha Alcântara Barreiros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0672275617505946; Girotto, Pedro Henrique Sales; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0421749067951878; Freitas, Wiviane Maria Torres de Matos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8170754805493164Respiratory physiotherapy for patients with spinal cord injury is performed using pressure applied to the patient's chest followed by a vibration performed by the physiotherapy professional. This work aims to develop a computational automation device with the ability to assist the physiotherapy professional when performing this procedure, through devices capable of executing both the pressure and the correct vibration frequency in the patient.Item Desenvolvimento de uma inteligência artificial para a classificação de sinais sonoros de trânsito(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2022-06-08) Modesto, Matheus Cardoso; Santos Junior, Pedro Gomes dos; Brito, Roger Moraes; Girotto, Pedro Henrique Sales; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0421749067951878; Nascimento, Polyana Santos Fonseca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6889523334917369; Dias, Suzane Alfaia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9675395702501834In Brazil, there is a low number of people who are hearing impaired and are drivers of vehicles in traffic (IBGE, 2010), one of the causes of this are the difficulties faced by them when issuing or renewing a CNH (National Driver's License). The expansion of Assistive Technology development has enabled the PcD community to have a better quality of life and social inclusion. The purpose of this project is to develop an Artificial Intelligence, an Artificial Neural Network model which is efficient in classifying whistle, horn and siren sounds, which in a future perspective, can be implemented in an alert system to assist hearing impaired drivers. Furthermore, the presented convolutional-type Artificial Neural Network (CNN) model and the database created, give scope for the use of these components in other applications.Item Portfólio: experiências acadêmicas e profissionais no curso de bacharelado em Ciência da Computação(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2022-12-12) Carneiro, Renan Figueiredo; Baganha, Alessandra Natasha Alcântara BarreirosThe Portfolio is one of the types of Course Work of the School of Business (ARGO) of the University Center of the State of Pará. The Sensorial Toy emits sound and has textures associated with the animals, lights up light corresponding to the chosen animal, besides being able to configure which of the stimuli you want to apply. The main differentials are to have a report on the session performed, and to engage the child during therapy.Item Utilização da Inteligência Artificial para o desenvolvimento de próteses e órteses: análise dos avanços e desafios(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2023) Calvinho Bisneto, Hermínio; Castro, João Paulo da Silva; Vieira, Rannery Carlos Mota; Farinha, Reryson Augusto; Nascimento, Polyana Santos Fonseca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6889523334917369; Elgrably, Isaac Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7590598824563858; Gomes, Vitor Hugo Freitas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5218954387107307Prosthetics are devices that replace body limbs to compensate for functional insufficiencies, while orthoses are temporary devices that contribute to the alignment, immobilization and movement of specific parts of the body, preventing deformities. Both aim to meet the specific needs of People with Disabilities (PWD). Currently, several types of prosthetics and orthoses are available. This work performs a diagnosis, adopting a meta-analysis approach to study information related to the use of technology and computing in prosthetics and orthoses. Furthermore, it highlights the evolutionary process of these technologies, emphasizing the contribution of AI to the advancement of accessibility and these specific technologies. The study proposes a systematic review on the use of AI in the development of these technologies, with the aim of evaluating results, highlighting techniques and categorizing information according to how each technology works. Finally, the article seeks to understand the crucial role of AI in the creation of prosthetics and orthoses, exploring its impact on accessibility and the daily lives of PWDs.
