Nutrition can be a great ally in preventing the development of the disease, since the consumption of foods rich in fiber, vegetables, fruits and “good” fats is a preventive factor, but it can be considered a risk factor, if the consumption of processed foods, deli meats, red meat, among others, is excessive. To develop an educational technology (ET) for users of primary health care on food for the prevention of breast cancer. Review study with a qualitative approach, carried out through methodological development, divided into two stages: integrative literature review (ILR) and production of ET, which is a digital booklet. The protective factors identified were the consumption of natural or minimally processed foods, such as vegetables, fruits, grains, seasonings and spices. While the excessive consumption of red meat, whole milk and derivatives rich in fat, deli meats, soft drinks, industrialized foods are considered risk factors. After the survey and organization of significant topics, the development of the booklet was started, with easy understanding content, containing in its extension the use of images and adequate textual content. It aims to analyze the indicators of nutritional risk in hospitalized cancer patients as well as to identify the prevalence of nutritional risk among cancer patients and investigate the factors that may be related to the nutritional risk of these patients. The methodology was carried out through a descriptive study, literature review in Portuguese and English. The search was carried out from March to May 2021, for articles published from 2011 to 2021. As a result, it was found that most studies indicated more than 40% of nutritional risk, this is because patients do notfeed enough to meet their energy needs, which can be due to a series of factors, such as the underlying disease, pain, nausea, vomiting, anxiety, inappetence, dysphagia, depression, functional incapacity, aggressive treatments and even the hospital environment. Furthermore, when they affect the digestive tract, they increase the risk of malnutrition, mainly due to the low food intake resulting from symptoms and the presence of cancer, often of an obstructive nature. This home care environment contributed to the reduction of the anxiety of the patient and family. The interest in knowing about the program of cancer palliative care/home care arose out of practical lessons in Hospital Ophir Loyola, When we have taken note of this program as important and necessary for the cancer patients residing in Belém. To know the performance of the multidisciplinary team in oncology/palliative home care. Report form the multidisciplinary team performs its actions with patients and their families. Identify how the multidisciplinary team prepares the caregiver to deal with cancer patients in home care. Identify the difficulties and benefits found by the multidisciplinary team of home care service in working with cancer patients in palliative care. This is a qualitative approach of exploratory character, where the data were collected through semi-structured interview script. Research participants were professionals working in the field team (nurse, doctor, psychologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, dentist, social worker and speech therapist). The professionals who took part in the research were represented by their acronyms in General and individual universal acronym EMAD (multidisciplinary team of home care). The participants were the sector of CCPO1, CCPO2 and SAD totaling 8 professionals who responded to interview script with previously established questions, related to your expertise in Oncology/palliative care home care. Watching in full the report of each professional regarding performance within the multidisciplinary team. With the common practice among professionals like: search team within their specific characteristics to achieve the principles of palliative care ensuring dignity and comfort to the patient and your family. In the process of the construction of the work it was found that most of these palliative care in terminal patients seeking to provide an environment of comfort and symptom control in physical, emotional, social, spiritual the patient and their families. Because the communication and interventions between multiprofessional teams are a fundamental piece to keep the patient comfortable by ensuring the best quality of life possible.Item Avaliando o intervalo pré-diagnóstico de leucemia linfóide aguda em pacientes pediátricos do estado do Pará(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2021) Ponte, Isabella Maria Figueiredo Tuma da; Almeida, Malu de Aquino; Fernandes, Sweny de Sousa Marinho; Neves, Eliza Lemos BarbosaIntroduction: acute Lymphoid Leukemia (ALL) is the most common type of cancer in the child population. Nowadays, about 75% of children and adolescents reach a cure when diagnosed early. However, nonspecific signs and symptoms found in ALL are a confounding factor with other common diseases, delaying diagnosis. Objectives: the present study pursue to recognize the ALL pre-diagnosis time, looking for variables that may have caused a delay in the diagnosis of patients treated at the Hospital Oncológico Infantil Octávio Lobo (HOIOL). Methods: the research took place through an interview, with those responsible for the children being followed up on an outpatient basis and undergoing treatment, guided by a questionnaire previously prepared by the researchers. Results: 86 answerable were interviewed, 46 of whom (53%) were diagnosed with the disease within one month. Most patients were male (59%), predominantly aged between zero and four years old (51.2%), brown (70%), coming from the metropolitan region of Belém (35%) or from the northeast of Pará (31 %), with family income of up to 1 minimum salary (55%), and with legal responsible having completed or incomplete high school (53.5%). Conclusion: There was a statistically association between family income of three minimum salaries or more and delay in diagnosis, with an odds ratio of 8.33. In addition, the use of previous antibiotics and corticosteroids was associated with delay, with odds ratios of 3 and 2.65 respectively. The relationships of the other variables were not statistically relevant.
