This article aims to clarify sexual violence in rape crimes against women in circumstances in which the victim's testimony is the main means of evidence for solving the crime. In this sense, we will seek ways to clarify why the lack of relevance to her testimony and the reasons for the suspicions about a certain female stereotype are so intertwined with the legal and social sphere experienced by the victim at the moment of the testimony. Based on the literature review, the consequences generated by a sexist and patriarchal society will be demonstrated, thus constituting institutional violence, present in the Judiciary.

A relativização do consentimento de mulheres vítimas de estupro de vulnerável na hipótese de embriaguez voluntária
(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2023) Pires, Isabella Dalla Bernardina Flexa Ribeiro; Lima Filho, Eduardo Neves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6648186048235225
The objective of this article is to discuss the imbroglios involving the habitual behavior of women in relation to the consumption of alcoholic beverages at their own will and its reflection on the issue of putting themselves at risk of being a victim of a possible rape as vulnerable, by the relativization of consent. The theme is analyzed through a critical analysis of books, data, jurisprudence and criminal law manuals. The evolution of sexual crimes in the Brazilian legal system is clarified, focusing on the insertion of Art. 217-A and its respective first paragraph in the Penal Code, by Law Nº 12.015/2009. The consumption of alcoholic beverages today is also addressed, with regard to a hypothesis of vulnerability that results in preventing the offering of the resistance mentioned for the typification of the crime, due to the effect of alcohol in the body. However, the criminal type is still interpreted with a sexist bias in relation to female victims, given the historical construction of a patriarchal society that perpetuated judging teachings of female behavior recognized by gender inequality, about who can be considered a victim of sexual violations, especially in view of the moral of the honest woman. Finally, the consequences of the issue in the criminal process are highlighted.

Caso Favela Nova Brasília vs. Brasil
(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2018-12-10) Cunha, Lorrayne Zitta Farias; Fadel, Anna Laura Maneschy
The present study aims to analyze how sexual violence against women can be used as a mechanism of female control from the Favela Nova Brasília case. To do so, at a first moment, the facts regarding the case that has reached in international routes due to the unfounded delay of the investigative process, failures and delays in the punishment of those responsible for committing torture to the residents and sexual abuse to the women in the community where those responsible were conducting police raids. Subsequently, the procedural process of the case will be verified before the international instances as well as the jurisprudential understanding of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights regarding the issue of gender violence and protection of women's human rights. In the second moment, the theoretical references of Pierre Bourdieu, Gerda Lerner, Heleieth Saffioti will be used to base the forerunner structures of the patriarchy and legitimize male domination and from that will be explained the vehemence of these structures, that is, the violence. Finally, the third stage of this work will be focused on its central object, the practice of rape, which is often invisible because its practices are seen as a type of culture and mere acts of power, given its reflected in mechanisms historically diffused in the Brazilian social context.

Estupro de guerra: a violação do corpo da mulher como arma contra o inimigo e a transgressão ao direito de desenvolvimento feminino
(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2019-06-11) Martins, Ádria Luyse do Amaral; Bentes, Natália Mascarenhas Simões
The aim of this study is to analyze that since the beginning of humanity, women were subjugated by their way of acting and objectified by their own body, mainly motivated by the gender inequality between men and women, where the feminist struggle was of the utmost importance to guarantee the rights of women. However, the power of one gender to the detriment of the other has reached a level of mass physical violence, where countless women have undergone systematic rape in armed conflicts, with the intention of using them as a weapon against the enemy. Thus, with the emblematic cases of rape that took place in the 1990s, they led to the creation of the Ad Hoc International Criminal Tribunals, the first to regard rape as a triple crime, since it is a crime of war, genocide and the humanity. In this way, it is important to consider women's rights as jus cogens, in order to guarantee women's right to development.

Foi o boto ou o homem: uma revisão narrativa sobre os impactos psicoemocionais e socioculturais da lenda do boto em mulheres ribeirinhas vítimas de estupro
(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2024-09-03) Faria, Ana Gabriela Damasceno; Reis, José de Arimateia Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3976380225171903; Hage, Zakiee Castro Mufarrej; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0593579703870586; Lima, Maria Lúcia Chaves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2883065146680171
This study explores the interconnection between the legend of the Pink Dolphin, the issue of rape of women, and patriarchal structures in riverside communities. In view of this, we seek to analyze how the legend of the Dolphin can influence cultural perceptions, the invisibility and underreporting of cases of sexual violence, and, above all, perpetuate gender norms that contribute to women's vulnerability to rape. Methodologically, it is characterized as a narrative literature review, with a cross-sectional design, of a descriptive and exploratory nature, with the purpose of updating the bibliographical references and providing reflections on the topic. Five articles published between 2019 and 2024 were used, obtained through searches in Google Scholar, Pepsic, and Scielo. These studies were selected based on their abstracts and objectives. Thus, it is worth highlighting that this article will contribute to a deeper and more up-to-date understanding of the complex interactions between cultural myths, sexual violence, gender violence, and patriarchal structures. The analysis of the materials shows that it was difficult to gather articles that dealt with the psychological, emotional and sociocultural impacts prevalent in riverside women who are victims of rape, as well as substantial data on rape cases on Amazonian islands and their relationship with the Legend of the Boto. In short, it is necessary to recognize the role of society as a significant agent in combating the silencing of women who are victims of violence, seeking mechanisms that contribute to strengthening practices that reduce it. It is therefore expected that the results of this research will foster the development of public policies, or the refinement of those that are in force, in addition to allowing greater visibility to an urgent and necessary issue, through clarification/psychoeducation on the subject, aiming at reducing cases of rape in riverside communities.
