Item Desenvolvimento de um guia de prototipagem para interfaces de aplicações móveis voltado para pessoas da terceira idade com base em um estudo de experiência de usuário(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2023-12-11) Azevedo, Giovanna Souto de; Rodrigues, Marília Eurides Barbosa; Carmo, Ricardo Melo Casseb do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4933624262290855; Dias, Suzane Alfaia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9675395702501834; Baganha, Alessandra Natasha Alcântara Barreiros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0672275617505946This paper addresses the growing trend of global population aging and the difficulties faced by the elderly when using modern technologies. Because of these difficulties, many seniors are unable to take advantage of the benefits of these technologies. Therefore, the general objective of this study is to propose a mobile application interface that takes into account consideration of the user experience of the elderly. User studies have been conducted and methodologies such as Design Thinking to understand impasses, solve problems and, at the end, develop an interface prototype adapted and validated with the end user. This approach aims to improve the accessibility and usability of the interfaces for the third party age, making technology more inclusive and beneficial to this demographic.Item Um estudo sobre assistentes virtuais inteligentes na atualidade: tecnologia e aplicabilidades(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2022-12-05) Bol, Caroline Maria Nunes; Barreto, Isabela Sobral Porpino Paes; Nascimento, Polyana Santos FonsecaThe usage of Intelligent Personal Assistants (IPAs), has rapidly grown in the past decade, represented by both large scale applications, developed by the biggest tech companies nowadays, and smaller applications developed by various businesses to interact with their clients, being dedicated to tasks related to the company’s necessities. The IPA’s notable influence gain in people’s everyday life and the continuous investment in this area contributes to a discussion regarding the assistants' use and evolution. In this context, this article aims to look into the current situation regarding intelligent assistants, considering its technology and fields of usage, as well as comparing Brazil’s contribution in this area in contrast to the rest of the world. The method chosen to achieve these objectives consists in a systematic review regarding IPAs, by investigating academic repositories in search of bibliographic materials. As a result, this article presents the many fields of application that are using IPAs technology, as well as showing the main elements that compose their structure and the most currently used architecture. Lastly, this work’s contribution is to show future perspectives in this area, like promising ways forward and parts that need attention, in a way as to guide future academic works.Item Utilização da Inteligência Artificial para o desenvolvimento de próteses e órteses: análise dos avanços e desafios(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2023) Calvinho Bisneto, Hermínio; Castro, João Paulo da Silva; Vieira, Rannery Carlos Mota; Farinha, Reryson Augusto; Nascimento, Polyana Santos Fonseca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6889523334917369; Elgrably, Isaac Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7590598824563858; Gomes, Vitor Hugo Freitas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5218954387107307Prosthetics are devices that replace body limbs to compensate for functional insufficiencies, while orthoses are temporary devices that contribute to the alignment, immobilization and movement of specific parts of the body, preventing deformities. Both aim to meet the specific needs of People with Disabilities (PWD). Currently, several types of prosthetics and orthoses are available. This work performs a diagnosis, adopting a meta-analysis approach to study information related to the use of technology and computing in prosthetics and orthoses. Furthermore, it highlights the evolutionary process of these technologies, emphasizing the contribution of AI to the advancement of accessibility and these specific technologies. The study proposes a systematic review on the use of AI in the development of these technologies, with the aim of evaluating results, highlighting techniques and categorizing information according to how each technology works. Finally, the article seeks to understand the crucial role of AI in the creation of prosthetics and orthoses, exploring its impact on accessibility and the daily lives of PWDs.
