(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2023-05-31) Fais, Nicole Albuquerque; Coelho, Érica Furtado Azevedo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5221363260090560; Romeiro, Janaina Cunha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5894499630718939; Lima, Leila Suely Aviz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9617281351879911
The Intensive Care Unit was created to provide advanced life support to patients with severe and acute diseases, but who have chances of survival. Studies show that the universalization of health services promoted by the SUS has been shown to be fragile in the actions of rationalization of resources and inclusion of the entire population in an equitable way in public health care, especially in activities of high complexity and high cost, such as hospitalizations in ICU beds. To perform an analysis of the quantity of Intensive Care Unit beds offered in the period from 2019 to 2021 in the State of Pará. Data collection aimed at the study of historical data through secondary sources, including population beds and general intensive care beds. The male sex was the most prevalent in hospitalizations, the age group between 60 and 80 years years was the predominant in the period from 2019 to 2021. Clinical comorbidities were the most dominant in the state of Pará. The mortality rate in Pará is the highest in both hospitals and ICUs. Clinical hospitalizations were the prevailing ones in the state of Pará. It is concluded that in the state of Pará the male sex is the most internal in ICUs and the most prevalent age group is between 60 and 80 years. The state of Pará dominated the mortality ranking in the period studied. There was no attempt to provide a minimum percentage of intensive care beds, considering the parameters of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health, which determine that the minimum variation of beds should be from 1 to 3 beds per 10,000 inhabitants.

The New Curriculum Guidelines of 2014 describe that the graduate must be coresponsible for the initial, continuing and in-service training, intellectual autonomy and social responsibility that can be achieved if the Unified Health System (UHS) is a learning scenario. The Problematization Methodology with Arco de Maguerez constitutes a rich path to stimulate the development of diverse knowledges. The Intervention Projects present the same itinerary or structure of the General Projects. It is called Intervention Project because it will intervene in something existing, proposing changes in reality. It is a way of achieving a theoretical-practical path, depending on the focus it may be a proposal of educational, care, management. In this context, the objective was to analyze the perception of the teachers in Health Interaction Module in the Community (HIMC) in relation to the development of an Intervention Project. A descriptive-exploratory study of a qualitative approach was developed. Medicine teachers in HIMC took part in the research in University Center of State of Pará - CESUPA, from October to December 2018. The data collection was done through a semistructured interview, consisting of 10 questions, addressing aspects related to the intervention project. The data were analyzed using the Bardin content analysis method with the aid of IRAMUTEQ software. Twenty-six teachers participated in the study, most of them female (65%), aged 40-49 (50%), with a teaching time of 1 to 9 years (12%). They have been working with the Problematization Methodology for more than five years, always using (85%) the methodology in their practical HIMC activities. The majority (69%) found it easy to apply the Intervention Project using the knowledge and steps of the Arco de Maguerez (88%), but most (62%) were not able to use the methodology with Arco de Maguerez, 62% were trained in other institutions or by other kinds of specialization such as Master's Degree. In the implementation of the Community Health Intervention Project (CHIP) written 96% report that they adhere to the guidelines of the Intervention Project manual provided by the HIMC. It is concluded that the HIMC teachers have a good perception regarding the development and importance of the Intervention Project in its practical activities, despite some difficulties found in the practice scenarios. The scenarios of HIMC are environments that allow the use of the Active Methodology of the Problematization to generate an Intervention Project. To improve the dynamics of the Intervention Project it is necessary to train the teachers about the Arco de Maguerez and standardize the elaboration of the Health Intervention Project in the Community.

Perfil epidemiológico de pacientes com diagnóstico de câncer de mama no Pará entre os anos 2020 a 2024
(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2024-06-03) Motta, Camila Bentes; Bezerra, Luna Wanessa Vianna; Silva, Flávia Vasconcelos da; Barros, Luiz Fernando Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5387620245589910; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9850385940493229; Ladeira, Érika Sampaio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9523140163001182; Lima, Leila Suely Aviz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9617281351879911
Introduction: Introduction: Epidemiological studies play a crucial role in understanding cancer, a malignant disease that has been a significant cause throughout history. Cancer is characterized by the formation of neoplastic cells and the rapid dissemination capacity within the body. Such studies provide valuable information on the incidence, risk factors, clinical characteristics, and outcomes of breast cancer, enabling the development of effective strategies for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Objective: The objective of this study was to characterize the clinical and epidemiological profile of patients diagnosed with breast cancer between 2020 and 2024. Methodology: A descriptive study was carried out, based on data from DATASUS in order to identify the clinical profile-epidemiological analysis of patients diagnosed with breast cancer from 2020 to 2024. Results and discussion: During the period analyzed, breast cancer was more common in women, with 1,535 registered cases, compared to just 16 cases in men. The most prevalent age group for diagnosis was between 40 and 44 years old, with 206 cases, followed by the 45 to 49 years old group, with 189 cases. There was significant variation in incidence between cities, with Belém presenting the highest number of cases (756 records) and other cities with very low numbers, such as São Caetano de Odivelas and Santa Cruz do Arari, with only 3 cases each. Delivery of test results occurred within 0 to 10 days in most cases, although in some cases there were delays of more than 30 days. These results highlight the importance of awareness, early detection and improving the efficiency of healthcare processes related to breast cancer. Conclusion: The research provided valuable information about the clinical-epidemiological profile of breast cancer during the period analyzed. The results highlighted the higher incidence of the disease in women, the most affected age groups and significant regional variations. This information is essential to identify risk groups, target prevention and treatment strategies, and improve the efficiency of healthcare systems as breast cancer continues to be a challenge for the medical community, highlighting the need for continued research and innovative strategies to improve outcomes.
