Avaliação dos sistemas de informação na pandemia da COVID–19

Keeping informed is essential for problem solving, due to the high number of accumulated data, information systems were developed to ensure not only the collection, but also the standardized management and sharing of information. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused chãos around the world, causing governments to seek solutions to end this problem. The high number of new cases of the disease, deaths and recovered daily led to the creation of platforms such as websites and applications to inform and guide the population, making information systems important in this fight. In this article, 6 of these platforms were selected, in order to highlight their use in the pandemic, initially identifying their main characteristics, followed by the creation of comparative tables that pointed out relevant information such as the focus of each platform, the form of access, as well as problems encountered, these and other points were developed following criteria, which led to the choice of each analyzed platform. With this, it was observed that knowledge about the use of health information systems is important, however the lack of initial information about the disease, as well as political and social differences made it difficult to collect data for the creation of platforms, pointing out that many Countries need to rethink their ways of analyzing and acting in the face of problems such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Photovoltaic energy is a source of sustainable energy that is constantly growing in Brazil and in the world, factors for this growth are the reduction of costs and the continuous increases in electricity tariffs. As its name suggests, it is the generation of electrical energy through light (photo, which comes from the Greek "phos" which means light and voltaic which is derived from "volt" which is the unit of electromotive force). However, although photovoltaic energy is becoming popular, for a part of the population it is still a type of exotic technology, for which information is not easily found. Which can lead lay people, who want to take advantage of this type of technology, to make mistakes when purchasing it. To reduce this lack of information, we developed a platform that makes it possible to compare products related to photovoltaic systems. For the development of this project, we used Adobe XD, VScode, MariaDB and HeidiSQL tools, with these tools it was possible to generate the comparison platform.

Respiratory physiotherapy for patients with spinal cord injury is performed using pressure applied to the patient's chest followed by a vibration performed by the physiotherapy professional. This work aims to develop a computational automation device with the ability to assist the physiotherapy professional when performing this procedure, through devices capable of executing both the pressure and the correct vibration frequency in the patient.

In the “Information Era”, companies deal with vast volumes of data. Information overload hampers decision-making. Digital transformation is pivotal, involving data integration through data pipelines. These processes convert raw data into actionable insights for business analysis. This study aims to compare the performance of different pipelines, ETL and ELT, analyzing data transformation time to ensure availability and decision-making efficiency. The comparison between ELT and ETL shows the significance of each method's specific application. In this study using AdventureWorks, ETL outperformed by transforming data before loading, unlike ELT. The difference between code usage and tools like Pentaho highlights a trade-off between performance and accessibility. Choosing between ELT and ETL should account for project needs, while future studies may deepen the understanding of these processes.

With the emergence of games in the 70s, much has been improved over the years, where games were for a more childlike audience and there was no great market demand, nowadays it has become one of the most profitable industries in the world whole. Generating billionaire revenues, the games industry continues to expand with the emergence of new developer companies, which use increasingly modern tools for the production of their titles, which are used both in the major game producers and by those who want to create their own independent titles. Based on these facts, this work aims to demonstrate the stages of developing an independent game in the RPG genre, using the RPG Maker MV tool for desktop.

In Brazil, there is a low number of people who are hearing impaired and are drivers of vehicles in traffic (IBGE, 2010), one of the causes of this are the difficulties faced by them when issuing or renewing a CNH (National Driver's License). The expansion of Assistive Technology development has enabled the PcD community to have a better quality of life and social inclusion. The purpose of this project is to develop an Artificial Intelligence, an Artificial Neural Network model which is efficient in classifying whistle, horn and siren sounds, which in a future perspective, can be implemented in an alert system to assist hearing impaired drivers. Furthermore, the presented convolutional-type Artificial Neural Network (CNN) model and the database created, give scope for the use of these components in other applications.

Increasingly, efforts are being made to optimize the time that each person spends during their day to day in order to focus on essential activities and this applies to the time spent commuting to activities that need to be carried out. The city of Belém notoriously has several problems in terms of urban mobility, which generates waste of this precious time and among these problems is the loss of time by drivers in finding parking spaces in the vicinity of their destination. This work seeks to solve this problem through an intelligent solution that allows, in real time, city drivers to locate parking spaces in the city close to their destination, through a web/mobile application built from the React and Expo libraries of Javascript, with integration with a Realtime Firebase database powered in real time by ultrasonic sensors connected to an ESP32. Surveys were carried out through Google Forms both on the interest with the application and for feedback on its final form, validating the product as viable.

The growth of plants in homes became popular due to the change in mentality about sustainability and healthiness. However, cultivation requires time, space, knowledge and other factors, which keep people away from the interest of growing gardens. Thus, this work aims to create a sensorized environment for the cultivation of residential horticultures. For this, the factors that most impact on the development of plants were mapped and a database was developed capable of storing those data. Connected directly to the database, a mobile application was built to show the user real-time information of a plants’ environment, which were collected from the sensors that are within the elaborated compact greenhouse model.

The market is always changing, mainly in the forms of payments, since solutions like credit cards, new technologies always appear to increase the competitiveness of the market, looking for the convenience for the user and the service time delivered for the same, the growth in solutions using the digital wallet method have been expanding significantly in the world, showing that the focus is the search for digitalization of the service from end to end. In this scenario, the objective of the work was to develop a product that will provide greater convenience for the user and ease in making their transactions in a shorter time. Using the applied methodology, secondary data were analyzed by the authors where they reached a satisfactory solution. With the definition of the scope of the product, we proceeded to the development where a mobile application was created that will make payments through QR Code technology, with several functionalities for the client's routine.

This product was developed with the objective of preventing accidents caused by carbon monoxide in indoor environments due to the absence of detection, monitoring and control devices. To solve this problem, a solution was developed consisting of: embedded systems for sensing and controlling the environment, a cloud server for processing the collected data, and a web environment, so that users can view the entire operation in real time. To prevent any lethal accidents, the entire operation is automated, with the help of advanced communication protocols (MQTT and Web Sockets), programming tools (C, C++, JavaScript, PHP and Node.js), and electronic devices and components. We emphasize that, once harmful levels of carbon monoxide are detected, an alert notification is sent via email to the person in charge and, consequently, control actions help to regularize the environment in order to guarantee the physical integrity of the human beings present on site. After the regularization of the environment, a notification of normalization is also sent to the person in charge, all in an automated way.

The present work presents the development of a methodology for optimization of investment portfolios using the Python programming language, based on Harry Markowitz's Portfolio Theory (1952). Based on static analyses and observations, there was an increase in the number of individuals registered on the main Stock Exchange in Brazil, B3, which shows a growing interest on the part of the population in investments. In this way, the project arises from the attempt to provide a simplification of the act of investing by enabling the optimization of investment portfolios in an accessible and practical way for investors and financial market professionals. It contains conceptualizations of risk and Markowitz's Theory in its first section. In the second section, the feasibility analysis of the product is presented, moving on to prototyping, with its specific requirements and arrangement of the Data Flow and Use Case diagram, the technologies used for the development of the methodology, including Python, Pandas, Numpy, Plotly, YFinance, Flask and PyPortfolioOpt, the product functionalities and the data analysis of the input and output files. Also in this section, the methodological nature of the work is arranged, showing the exploratory and evaluative research techniques that permeated the testing stage of the same, the commercialization model of the product to implement it in the market and possible direct and indirect competitors. In the third section, the results of the application and the data and assets considered are exposed, with a survey directed to the target audience. And, finally, in the fourth section, there are the considerations of the tool, about which it can be stated that it fulfilled the initial objective of the project and showed a real and potential possibility of visualization of portfolios and their respective risks, enabling insights for the investment area and proving the potential of the Python tool as a technology.

This paper presents a device entitled sena, as a tool for teaching the Braille system. The objective is to help in the literacy process of children with visual impairment. For such, an exploratory research on literacy using the braille system was carried out, as well as a description of the product construction process and an interview with braille teachers. The device consists of obstacle sensors, the Arduino Mega 2560 board, the DF Player Mini module, RFID Reader RC522, RFID Tags, and a linear guide. The sena device is divided into two modules, the Electronic Braille Cell module and braille scanner module, providing 8 functions for developing necessary notions and skills for braille literacy.

From the initial studies on the competences of Artificial Intelligence, in the 50s, Turing, in his article Computing Machinery and intelligence, inserted the premise "Are machines capable of thinking?". Thus, chatbots are directly related to this idea, given that they are able to converse and learn, via deep learning, to adapt to different conversation scenarios. Therefore, the objective of this work is to compare the studies of the time with the current ones on artificial intelligences and to analyze if these intelligences are able to perform the “Turing Test”, na example of the results in the Loebner Prize, and if its accomplishment matches those pointed out by Turing. That said, at the end, after applying the test to the finalists of the Loebner award, the discrepancy in scores between champion Mitsuku and the other AIs can be seen. However, it was found that despite their high score, the problem of mimicry is still directly implicated as IAs who perform the test precisely with the objective of winning the test, thus interfering with measuring as real artificial intelligence resources tested.

Computer graphics are present in the most diverse areas of activity, for example, in health, education, cinematographic means, and even in games. Even though the latter is one of the fields that has suffered the most significant influence over the years, few material link both, succinctly presenting the main improvements and which games were developed that benefited the most. Recently, computer graphics have been receiving more and more attention due to their vast numbers referring to the generated capital and its popularization. With the increase in searches on electronic games and their technologies, the synthesis of information becomes necessary, to facilitate access to information and follow-up. As a result, this article aims to collect data through academic repositories, books, and scientific articles in order to synthesize information in the form of a chronograph, which presents the main contributions and impacts of computer graphics in the games industry. In this way, in order to define its limitations, main advances, and how they came to be.

Brazil is in an unfortunate position worldwide, in terms of financial education and financial knowledge, even behind countries considered poor worldwide. Such a problem leads to a deficit at a certain stage in the educational development of young people, making them unable to manage their own finances since this country has a high rate of cases of negatively registered names. Thus, there is a need for research on the use of NFC technology to help financial education of students in the school environment, in order to propose a system in which schools are able to integrate financial education into their curriculum, using related activities, making the student fit for the financial world. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a bibliographic survey on the subject, to search for components and platforms for development and to study the use of the Arduino, SQlite, Python and Processing components. In view of the research carried out, there was a need to insert young people in the technological scenario early so that they have contact with terms of transactions, facilitating technology, financial education and learn to deal with the acquired knowledge so that they are prepared to use and plan wisely and wisely, your financial assets.

The use of virtual reality is increasingly present in daily life, several applications are being developed, such as in training, entertainment and health. This work aims to present VRVS (Virtual Reality using Vibrations on Skin), an embedded system, controlled by the PIC18F4550, for virtual reality system whose objective is to transmit vibrations on the skin based on the user interaction in the virtual environment developed in the Unity engine. The expected result was achieved with an accessible product, universally compatible with the most varied types of people and capable of transmitting perceptible vibrations.
