This analysis was carried out, with the aim of enhancing the results, using the exploratory method, where two types of research occur; a case study in order to identify the problems presented in a type of public work with on-site monitoring (corpo de bombeiros /CMAN), and a quantitative research, where a questionnaire was carried out in order to collect data regarding existing gaps, by type of work (civil/infrastructure), specification of the work (ex: roads), by role of the interviewee (inspector/executor), size of the work, finally, several issues are presented where the interviewee points out the degree of interference in the result end of the work; Finally, a comparison was made between the data obtained in the quantitative research and the case study, resulting in compatibility between the two studies, showing that the field research did not meet the standards of public works in the state of Pará, according to data from quantitative research,.
