The influence of artificial intelligence on the retail market has been increasingly notable, playing a crucial role in transforming business operations and strategies. Notably, AI stands out in technologic innovation, inventory management and offering personalized experiences to customers, optimizing processes and boosting operational efficiency. However, its successful implementation requires a careful approach to ethical and data security challenges. In this context, the present work seeks to carry out a systematic review that highlights the importance of addressing these issues to maximize the benefits of artificial intelligence in retail. This research contributes to an in-depth understanding of the impact of AI on the retail industry, providing essential data for companies looking to remain competitive and adaptable in a dynamic business landscape, highlighting the need for a balanced approach between technological advances and ethical considerations.
