Item Análise do uso da realidade virtual na reabilitação fisioterapêutica: uma revisão de literatura(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2022-12-14) Negrão, Larissa Nascimento; Gomes, Vitor Hugo FreitasThe use of Virtual Reality as a tool can bring benefits to the physical and mental health of patients undergoing physiotherapeutic treatment. Its use in clinics and hospitals can provide more exciting and pleasurable care. This study aimed to develop a systematic review of the use of Virtual Reality in the rehabilitation of patients undergoing physical therapy treatment. The review focused on scientific articles chosen according to the following inclusion criteria: (1) specific search terms, (2) year of publication from 2018 to November 2022, (3) texts in English or Portuguese and (4) use of academic repositories SCIELO and LILACS. A total of 16 articles were found, and after refinement, only 8 fit the objective of the work. We concluded that Virtual Reality could increase patients' motivation, contributing to their recovery and effectiveness in the treatment of diagnoses of Parkinson's Disease, Cerebral Vascular Accidents, and patients in Intensive Care. When comparing the use of Virtual Reality with conventional physiotherapeutic intervention, the results were equivalent. Future work can deepen the object of this study because, despite observing the effectiveness of Virtual Reality, we cannot say that the approach is more effective than the conventional physiotherapeutic approach due to the scarcity of literature.Item Aprendizagem imersiva: como os ambientes de simulação gráfica ajudam os estudantes a aprender usando programação(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2023-12-04) Oliveira, Abimael Ferreira de; Gomes, Vitor Hugo Freitas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5218954387107307; Elgrably, Isaac Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7590598824563858; Nascimento, Polyana Santos Fonseca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6889523334917369This article presents a literature review on the use of immersive learning environments and graphical simulation in teaching programming, where the advantages and challenges of these environments were discussed, highlighting the importance of evaluating the effectiveness of these tools and developing more sophisticated and adaptive tools. Furthermore, we will present examples of graphical simulation tools that can be used in teaching programming, such as Scratch, Algodoo and Geogebra, etc. In which the functionalities and areas of application of these tools will be addressed, which range from visual environments to game-based environments. The continuous presence of digital devices has not only redefined how we interact and perform tasks but also has a direct impact on our health. This close interconnection reveals a scenario with significant benefits but also potential challenges to well-being. The main objective of this study is to examine how technology, through apps and gamification techniques, can be used as a useful and effective tool to promote and encourage healthy habits in society. To achieve this goal, we conducted an updated and comprehensive literature review, discussing topics such as the pros and cons of technology in the healthcare field, gamification as an innovative and effective strategy to engage and motivate users of health applications, and its positive impact. We also explored the positive impact and negative consequences of using technology to shape healthy habits. The conclusion is that technology can play a collaborative role in health promotion, although it also poses risks and challenges that need to be considered and mitigated. Furthermore, it is clear that gamification is a way to increase user interest and adherence to health apps, but its application must be done responsibly and ethically. Finally, it is important to emphasize that using technology for promoting healthy habits can bring significant benefits to quality of life but also requires continuous monitoring and evaluation of potential adverse effects. The forest exercises an important part in regional and global climate control, capturing and storing CO2, contributing with rain formation and varied biogeochemical cycles. Its large contribution to the livelihood of native and traditional communities is not to be neglected. Despite it all, the territory faces great challenges, suffering with the impacts of deforestation, fires, global climate change, pollution, and more. In its conservation efforts, the usage of advancing tools and technology has resulted in the implementation of Artificial Intelligence and its sub-areas, such as Machine Learning, which has contributed to the development of predictive studies in the Amazon. Here, we revised studies that implemented Machine Learning in the conservation of Amazon’s territory, seeking a deeper understanding of its limitations and future usage of this technology. We concluded that, as a technology Machine Learning has helped in preservation efforts, but there still is much that can be done to improve its usage, such as the utilization of comprehensive data, training of professionals and experts to adequately implement the technology and to analyze the results, being these improvements crucial to the futureconservation efforts in the Amazon Region.Item MonumApp: aplicativo para identificação de monumentos históricos de Belém(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2020-12-07) Magnenti, Álvaro Somensi; Souza, Vitor Henrique Moreira de; Gomes, Vitor Hugo FreitasBelém has more than 400 years of history, and several "marks" of this trajectory can be found in the city's monuments. Monuments tell an important part of the local history, and for that reason, they are fundamental to understand how Belenense society was formed. However, these milestones are falling by the wayside due to a lack of information about them. This factor contributes to residents and visitors do not enjoy this historical heritage of the capital of Pará. Therefore, this work aims to create a mobile application capable of identifying the monuments of Belém and informing the user about them, simply and quickly, helping the preservation and appreciation. During the development of this project, it was observed the difficulty in obtaining the necessary information regarding the monuments located in Belém. Therefore, a data survey was carried out. Also, using MongoDB, Spring Boot, React Native and QR Code, it was possible to develop a mobile app that is easy to maintain and scale. This work seeks a new way to allow a technological immersion in the city's history.Item O uso da tecnologia Blockchain na educação(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2022-12-09) Yamase, André Akira Prazeres; Gomes, Vitor Hugo FreitasGiven the technological evolution of today's society, more technological resources began to be used within the field of education. At the same time, blockchain has been expanding to different areas, including education, and can be used, for example, in student certification and permanent academic registration. In this work, a literature review on blockchain technology and the possibilities of application in the field of education was developed, using the academic repositories Google Scholar, IEEE Xplore Digital Library and Capes journals in the literature search. In this context, the present work seeks to carry out a systematic review that highlights the importance of addressing these issues to maximize the benefits of artificial intelligence in retail. This research contributes to an in-depth understanding of the impact of AI on the retail industry, providing essential data for companies looking to remain competitive and adaptable in a dynamic business landscape, highlighting the need for a balanced approach between technological advances and ethical considerations.Item WeeBooks: biblioteca digital para amantes da leitura(Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, 2020-12-10) Gonçalves, Anne Beatriz Martins; Gomes, Vitor Hugo FreitasTechnological advances have contributed to the increase in demand for mobile applications. People have been looking for ways to organize their habits, using mobile tools that do not always provide everything they need in the same application. WeeBooks aims to integrate different reading functionalities in a single application, ensuring ease, simplicity and less exchange of applications for users. The application uses Google Books API, available for free to search for books and their information, in addition to Firebase backend services, and Flutter mobile framework libraries. The main results of the project are the viability of various ways of acquiring books online, ways of organizing libraries and browsing digital readings. WeeBooks makes it possible to help and spread the habit of reading.
