The hypothetical-deductive method is used and a bibliographical and documentary survey is carried out on the subject. For this, a study will be carried out on the hyperconsumption society, the consumer profiles resulting from it, as well as the appearance of the phenomena of the dematerialization of the currency, as a way to facilitate access to credit by this consumer. Next, it is the phenomenon of programmed obsolescence, passing through its historical origins, modalities, with the purpose of answering in what way the publicity stimulates the practice of programmed obsolescence.
