Monox: monitoramento e controle inteligente de monóxido de carbono. 2022. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Bacharelado em Engenharia de Computação) – Centro Universitário do Estado do Pará, Belém, 2022.https://repositorio.cesupa.br/handle/prefix/158This product was developed with the objective of preventing accidents caused by carbon monoxide in indoor environments due to the absence of detection, monitoring and control devices. To solve this problem, a solution was developed consisting of: embedded systems for sensing and controlling the environment, a cloud server for processing the collected data, and a web environment, so that users can view the entire operation in real time. To prevent any lethal accidents, the entire operation is automated, with the help of advanced communication protocols (MQTT and Web Sockets), programming tools (C, C++, JavaScript, PHP and Node.js), and electronic devices and components. We emphasize that, once harmful levels of carbon monoxide are detected, an alert notification is sent via email to the person in charge and, consequently, control actions help to regularize the environment in order to guarantee the physical integrity of the human beings present on site. After the regularization of the environment, a notification of normalization is also sent to the person in charge, all in an automated way.
