Despite representing a rising technology with numerous benefits, the adoption of cloud computing brings forth a series of uncertainties and challenges to be overcome. In this context, this article aims to highlight the main challenges faced by organizations during the planning of migration to cloud computing, addressing critical issues such as security, system integration, regulatory compliance, and cost management. Through a systematic review, the article sought to analyze bibliographic materials, ranging from scientific articles to reference works, with the goal of providing a comprehensive and well-founded understanding of the subject. As a result, the article aimed to present the topics that generate the most doubts in the process of planning the migration from physical servers to the cloud, analyzing and providing valuable insights.
